I, Too, Am ENA

This series of photos is in line with the photo campaigns "I, Too, Am Harvard" [itooamharvard.tumblr.com], "I, Too Am Oxford" [itooamoxford.tumblr.com], "I, Too, Am Cambridge" [wetooarecambridge.tumblr.com], "I, Too, Am NYU" [@iTooAmNYU14], "I, Too, Am Iowa" [itooamiowa.tumblr.com], "I, Too, Am Berkeley" [itooamberkeley.tumblr.com], "I, Too, Am Notre Dame" [itooamnotredame.tumblr.com], "I, Too, Am UCT" [itooamuct.tumblr.com] and "I, Too, Am Princeton" [itooamprinceton.tumblr.com], which highlight the faces and so often decried voices of black and brown students. By compiling expressions heard by a few Afrodescendant ENA students, its main purpose is to denounce the latent ignorance that lies within each of us. With this project, we express the fervent wish that people begin to think more about their statements, avoid generalizing and take the time to truly see a person before their color or presumed origin. Just like Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, NYU, Iowa, Berkeley, Notre Dame, UCT and Princeton students, "We, Too, are ENA".
