I will miss eternal city forever

i have yet to play a mobile choice app like storyscape, especially a book like eternal city. the world building....... the lore...... the character development........... unmatched.

the relationship between all the kids was amazingly written. watching your mc grow up and your choices legitimately shaping who she is and becomes. the Entity who was so gray no one could decide whether it was evil or not. the different factions, the subtle headnod of there being deeper magic, the entire city, the people. eternal city was one of a kind

storyscape was one of the best, if not THE best, choice app of the decade and it had only been released to the world for a few months. they already had amazing books and were gonna release even more. this just sucks so much lol

Honestly, Choices owns my ass. There's something special about it, even with all the bullshit it just has a special place in my heart.

Storyscape, though? I started playing it some days ago, and it's just next level. Instantly got an ITunes Card, for Edge of Extinction specifically. Your choices matter (gdi, too much responsibility, make it go away!), the animations are drop dead gorgeous, the stories are insanely inclusive - in a natural, organic way. No forced LIs. Replaying actually makes sense, because there are so many stories within the stories. The conversations feel realistic. I don't HAVE to spend diamonds to experience an incredible story, it enhances but doesn't make the story.

Also, we get a cute dog for free! Pb could never.

i just finished Titanic on Storyscape and i’m actually crying. my heart breaks for every single character and that’s rare for a story to do to me. i don’t think i’ll be able to replay it anytime soon but i would love to see more of the characters and their new lives in New York.
