The planet is deserted save for that one man, which the Iron Man fights back, but eventually it becomes more of a “leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone” relationship. Until one night a bad storm strikes and the Iron Man’s protection instincts come up and he makes sure the man is safe, taking him to a cave.

“You don’t remember me, do you?” The man says. “We met before. By the looks of you, I’d say it was a very long time ago. You’re getting old, man. What happened to you?”

The Iron Man allows himself to show bits of his past life, the people he used to save, the enemies going after it. “You had a rough time. I’m sorry. How was your life before that?”

The Iron Man tries to search far away into his “memories/data”. Until, there it is - the face of the same man before him, in very very old past footage of the Iron Man’s life. It doesn’t help him reconnect. The Iron Man gets wary, thinks this Tony Stark will want him back. He lifts a hand to blast something at him, and flies away.

Eventually, the Iron Man’s enemied return for him, and this time it’s Tony Stark’s turn to come to his help. There is not much he can do, but he knows this planet, knows its unpredictabilities (there were like geysers of fire, which Tony knows where to find and how to trigger them against the enemies). But eventually they get surrounded anyway.

And it turns out - the enemies weren’t enemies all along. Thor comes out of the spaceship. “What the hell, Tony Stark? I haven’t seen you in so long and you try to take my ship down? And you,” he says, pointing at the Iron Man’s, “I have been trying to find you and talk to you for ages and you keep running away!”
