I wet felted a couple of porkpie hats using the olive oil shampoo bar. It worked beautifully felting the wool relatively quickly while still keeping the felt loose enough for me to sculpt the porkpie shaping. This is fiona my sheep friend w horns. Did tou know that certain breeds of female sheep have horns? I did not until this fabulous handmade papier mache horned ewe joined me at @ithacafarmersmarket So many people lived her costume took her photograph and asked about the horns. We had a bit of a drought this past August. It yielded smaller than usual pears. Arent they cute? These pears are from @sabolsfarm at the ithaca farmers market. Richard carefully selected and packed the pears for me. They are sweet juicy and delicious. I made 20 pints of pear sauce. . I dud a crazy thing this week and processed 20 lbs of hot peppers! I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep when the heat creeped to start hot pepper hands. I thought the burn would come next. But when I cook I wash my hands a lot of Instant Liquid Soap as a hygein habit. This time w the intention of washing off the habd burn before it got too intense. It worked!
