Why Here
It was a totally normal day for Darcy, she got up, took a shower, made some breakfast, watched some TV. Really nothing out of the ordinary. She sat on her sofa and thought about the night before, her phone not working, the electricity flashing and acting weird... "hmm.." She thinks to herself "I mean it's New York, that happens all the time..." She says out loud to herself.. "But it's /NEW YORK/ and even weird things happen all the time..." Just to be safe Darcy made sure her taser was close by...you never know.
After a little while she almost forgot what she was worrying about, letting herself be transfixed by the TV, a knock at the door made her jump..."Just a minute!" She got up and opened the door she couldn't believe who was standing in front of her.

Darcy nodded "yeah I'm fine, I got out just before it got really bad." She tils her head "what about you, are you alright? You didn't get hurt did you?"

He frowned at the sudden memory lapse of the last few days. Sometimes, if something trips up his PTSD or some other shit...he loses a chunk of time around it. Its always disorienting especially if he comes out of the fog not quite sure where he is.
It takes him a second to register the unfamiliar voice beside him. The girl's hand on his shoulder startles him out of his daze.
"I must have...done that thing again. Whatever Banner calls it...disassociation? Yeah. That. Got no memory of the last few days, care to fill me in?"
Darcy gave Bucky a soft smile, knowing that this can happen. "It was just...a tough mission. Banner said that something like this could happen after a hard mission like that." She gently moves her hand from his shoulder and softly places it on the top of his hand "but right now lets not think about that...how are you feeling? Are you dizzy at all? Headache? Chest feel ok?"
Banner also warned her of other symptoms to look out for, so she wanted to make sure that Bucky was feeling alright before he left the medical wing, which Darcy is SURE he wanted to do as soon as possible...who wouldn't.

"oh my god hot chocolate please. With little teenie marshmellows."
"I really hope that wasn't the rough copy of 'A Cheap Trick and a Cheesy One-Liner'," he remarked. "Well that might be why I got this contract; they want me to be on more full time to help with these hacking attempts. See if I can find a way to bounce back along the signal refractors back to the source."
"oh god, maybe..." Darcy shudders. "uh yeah that sounds about right, it's been a pretty significant uptick in cases so I'm sure they want it figured out. Might as well get the best on the job" She winks
"Well I'm happy to be on your team any time, be it hacker defense or Mario Kart," he said, nudging her shoulder. "Okay, cocoa is nearly ready, now it's time for the big surprise."
"Agree with the hacker, disagree with Mario Kart, I like kicking your butt in that one" Darcy replies sticking her tongue out "ooh sweet! I like both of those things"
