Just Call Me Medi (No Longer On Hiatus)

With Robo-Ky’s reintroduction I decided that I needed to add a character to my KHxGG roster to fill in a niche-and with 348’s mention (or at least hinted at in the dialogue) I figured to have some fun.

Along with RK’s growth and development to being more than just a machine-a copy-he’s his own man (I’m positive Ky deliberately chose those words to emphasize the fact that RK is just as human as anyone else)-I figured “well aren’t there beliefs that as long as a memory is kept then that means there’s a soul”.

And boom. My big bad recruited a now reincarnated 000348 who’s desire in his contract is to know who he was before his death. (Luckily Knight is 3 steps ahead and knows how to get 348 out of his contract)

And sure Rip-we don’t see you also holding onto Merry’s arm there.

This was a drawing I had on a piece of paper. So I cleaned up the sketch and colored it.

@chibibreeby OC Ulyssa. I love her shapes and had a lot of fun trying to get the hair too work. Her silhouette was super fun too

@cryptidfoxes OC Inari. Got to play with the color variations of the different black/black adjacent colors I have so her parts don’t get lost against one another.

Lastly we have my newest OC Bunwitchula with Leona. I’ve been seeing these in other sketchbooks-where people take like old greeting cards and draw their characters on them. I decided to play it safe for my first time and did a beach selfie.

2022 was definitely the second era of “ugly art”. While 2021 I can see I’m just playing too safely with designs.

Took some time to clean them up digitally. Used Ohuhu Pupe for the first one and acrylic markers for the second.

I sorta have a fic in the works though not sure it will see the light of day-

More playing around with Ohuhu Pupe markers. No black or grey was used on this it’s all layers of colors.

Granted bleed through is still a problem but oh well.
