gonna be honest i’ve left this blog for so long looking at it stresses me out so i think i’m gonna put it on hiatus for now but you can find me over at @rewriitethestory

evie’s now on permanent hiatus i might move her onto my multimuse at some point but for now i’m only active in @rewriitethestory and @mel-ior-ism

aisling shot evie a nervous smile, fingers drumming against the wood of the table she sat at. the blue haired villainess had always been kind to aisling, even back on the isle; so aisling found that she couldn’t be anything but polite to the girl. but, she was truthfully very out of her element on auradon.

❝  um, it’s been…great? you and jane and ben have all been very—accommodating. ❞

Evie chuckled slightly at Aisling’s answer, not that she didn’t want it to be true but the ginger’s hesitation didn’t exactly build a lot of confidence. Plus from her own experience she knew that it wasn’t always sunshine and daisies while learning to adjust.

The smell of burning wood registers first. Followed by the shocking realisation that she can smell at all. Evie bolts up, eyes open to see a vast starry sky stretching out above her, which wouldn’t normally be so alarming if the stars weren’t so far away.

She sits up slowly, trying to orientate herself. She is on Earth. But—how?

Evie tries to make sense of the overwhelming rush of new sensations. She presses a hand to her chest and revels at the heartbeat inside, taking a moment to look around when she notices something glittering in the moonlight. Curious, she stretches out for it.

This gaudy necklace is the reason she’s here, she can’t help but hate it. Regardless she figures that something able to knock a star from its position in the sky is worth keeping around so she fastens it around her neck.

Just as she thinks about getting up she sees a light streaking towards her, there isn’t even time to think about moving before something heavy and solid slams into her. For the second time, Evie hits the Earth.

“Oh, what a scandal,” Mal feigned outrage at Evie’s retort, her mouth open slightly, eyebrows furrowed, and a hand on her chest. She dropped the silly expression soon after though, and gave Evie an amused smile. Small town meant small minds, after all.

Pressing her cold hands to her warm mug, Mal’s smile soon slipped from her face. “Has Regina said anything about Henry’s condition yet?” It hadn’t even been 24 hours yet since Henry was rushed to the hospital. Mal hadn’t seen Regina last night or all morning, so she had no idea what Henry’s condition was. Secretly, she had barely gotten any sleep.

Evie’s smile vanished off her face at the mention of Henry, she had been trying not to think about it since she had left his hospital room this morning and had been quickly getting fed up with the looks of pity everyone was throwing her at school.
