Someone may be getting bigger by the day but it hasn't stopped her from deciding that my shoulder is the most comfy place to go to sleep 😴This week is her 2nd vaccination, not long now till Jess is out and about. She's also starting puppy classes, it's really important for her to socialise and the trainer is a lovely lady who comes veterinary recommended. Me and Mins waited till this mornings rain passed revealing sunny skies and then we ventured off to the beach. High rollers meant there was less swimming and more wave dodging but we had fun. Then we popped into the little Museum on Ventnor seafront. Mins spent some time looking over the fossils before checking out the fishing boat history and wrecks that adorn the coastline. Spent the day riverside. “Stella” is in the garage having some work done, so we took a stroll along the river. Sitting amongst the wild cherry trees eating a lunch of melons while the water foul dabbled gracefully up and down stream. A beautiful summers day. An incredible few days spent striding in the footsteps of giants, kayaking adventures and campfire chats late into the night. Met some fantastic folk, some in vans and some who dream of the vanlife. We were treated to a surprise fireworks display as somewhere close by held a display, the sparkling colours dancing across the waves. Sunrises and sunsets framing days filled with the spirit of freedom and fascination. We're always truly inspired by the people we meet out and about, their stories and backgrounds are so varied. Every day brings something new from the sunrise that engulfs everything in warm tones and the trees that look as though they are coated in glitter as the leaves rustle in the ocean air. Mini and Lee even crossed paths with a local badger one evening while walking down the beach track.
