feelin blue

I have so many feelings about this show and I love these two so much. I was planning on making this into a print, but after reading Zag’s fanart policy, I’ll just share it online instead. 

EDIT! I’ve been given permission to make these into prints so expect some Ladybug prints in the near future!!

I accidentally became a fan of Seventeen (I’m blaming @officialhaikyuu tbh. Jeonghan and Woozi are also to be blamed but ANYWAYS….) I thought I’d use this opportunity to show some art process on this portrait of Jeonghan I did yesterday since I think stuff like this is neat to look at and can sometimes be helpful. (Well, not mine. But we can pretend it is :D)

1) Draw messy gross sketch that nobody wants to look at

2) Change the colors of the sketch lines and throw in some quick base colors under the sketch. I added a liiiittle bit of shading just so I knew where I wanted the light to hit.  

3) Go on top of all of that and paint to your heart’s content until you get the look you want. Then I did some last minute (subtle) color corrections using the Hue/Saturation slider bars and bam. Pretty kpop boy. Nice.
