Erol Alkan's long hair and height are very stallion-like to me, and recently a poster for one of his gigs(see below) featured a horse man with flowing hair. Inspiring! ^^
I had a lot fun with this. All those texture lines I did with my own silly hands, very satisfying. Usually I rely on some saturated colours to make my work pop, but the photo I was basing this on is pretty subdued for colour, so this time I wanted to try to emphasise surfaces and materials!

i don't usually do public service announcements but anyone who hasn't seen Ren and Stimpy seeing my pics and thinking it might be cute because that's how i draw, uhhhh do tread carefully this is the OG of gross aggressive cartoons and this video is one of it's more mild sequences lmao
🦆 A really silly Ren&Stimpy Justice comic for u! This originally was going to end with the 4th panel but I was feeling too cute to stop. This is all light-hearted, I hope that comes across! Lol its more me having fun with extreme cartoony aesthetics than a statement on what anyone is like ^^

🐶✝️🐱 oh joy! I'm limbering up to do the silliest thing, a Ren & Stimpy/Justice comic for an upcoming zine (I'm having too much fun doing these things, accept it) so I thought I'd plunge right in the deep end immediately and draw a Tender Scene. The nature of the comic itself will be far different from this though, it will be a tale of woe indeed! There will be pain! Betrayal! Tears! A lesson learned? Doubtful.
The second pic here was my first attempt at this idea back in April, and I had an idea for the comic at the time but not the vehicle for it. As you can see I've gotten better at drawing them, or at least their designs are somewhat improved ^^ for instance, I want to ape the R&S designs and style but still have my flavour, so I added a curved line to the Stimpy nose to just make the design a touch more feline than the original. Just a smidge!
Just embracing the joys of the boulangerie 🥖🥐🥨✨️
