LEGO Tintin: Destination home
Lego just announced a new set: The Tintin Moon Rocket!! And it's ready to pre-order!
It was originally submitted via LEGO Ideas Programme by a fan, and after its succes there it was eventually approved to be made into an official LEGO set (source)
And look at it!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL
(from LEGO's and Tintin's Instagram)
It includes 1,283 pieces, measures over 49cm (19.5 in) high, is 20cm (8 in) long and 23cm (9 in) wide.
THEY EVEN BOTHERED TO MAKE THE THOM(P)SON'S HAIR GREEN
I remember when I first heard about this project in LEGO Ideas Programme, I thought to myself that if this ever gets approved I would sell one of my kidneys.
... Oh well :)
My family has fallen into anarchy over this so I need to know: do you double space bar between sentences/after punctuation, and do you prefer word or Google Docs???
RBs appreciated for sample size I am really curious now
How many spaces after punctuation/between sentences+what software
Single space+Word
Double space+Word
Single space+Google Docs

Rebloging here because I need the democratic process these earth shattering times. APPARENTLY NOT EVERYONE DOUBLE SPACES AFTER A SENTENCE? Have I been living a lie????

how the HECK do people draw tintin well- I literally cannot. It’s like his design is… too simple?
Trust me its not easy. I have a hard time drawing the face sometimes. My best bet is to get many different references and just go crazy.
I honestly really struggle drawing Tintin too! Simple characters are difficult because with fewer landmarks it’s more obvious when something is out of place.
Here’s a few things I look out for when I draw him. I’m also pretty terrible at keeping things on model so take it with a grain (or handful) of salt. tbh i dont even stick to this fully most of the time lol
Very funny that the director of the french Tintin radio drama picked Noam Morgensztern because he wanted an "androgynous voice".
"Benjamin Abitan chose me for my voice, which he found androgynous, not for my affinities for Hergé."
"At first I wanted Tintin to perhaps be played by a woman because I wanted a tone that was ambiguous, androgynous. I didn't find an actress at the Comédie-Française who had that kind of voice, of tone. Finally with Noam, there's something interesting. It's often said of Tintin that he's a smooth, neutral surface to project on, that he's not very marked in his features. For the voice, and for the acting, it had to stay within a certain neutrality, without being flat: a voice that has some character, lightly veiled, while still being juvenile."

Recently overtaken with the mad urge to consume every single piece of Tintin media I can find. This is the result of that, I decided to try redrawing my favourite scene in something similar to the comic style.
It’s definitely not perfect but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out 😌
I saw it on pinterest and definitely needed to share
