Theres tulips on leiths desk, which could have a meaning, since most known thing it symbolizes is love im guessing he could've gotten those from harley. Im pretty sure they also symbolize rebirth & new beginnings if im not wrong, maybe to do with after Harley got turned into a brain in a tube, or maybe hinting to the hour of joy. I dont know, maybe there's no meaning behind them at all and im thinking too much.

Also i got to take a closer look, those are HARLEYS FUCKING GLASSES ON THE SHELVES. Leith kept the glasses, and im guessing eventually gives them back to harley later on when he gets his new body.

The way harley gives white a side eye, ohh he hates him so much.

Well, there is only two of them. That itself might be a hint that those flowers already mean something, simply - Leith and Harley? And we only see them thrice.

At first, they're not touching at all. Even leaning away, slightly withered. I feel like it shows disdain the two put into each other, softened into bunch of pretty petals as if they couldn't hate themselves that much, actually.

The second time, they're touching just barely. That could indicate the moment when something between the two sparkled, or just start of the little fling.

In the last slide, the tulips are wrapped around each other, as if creating a strong bond. One harsher tug and both might break apart. Sawyer's and Pierre's 'little fling' fell twelve damn steps too deep, now too far to go back and live peacefully.

Also, you generally don't give an even number of flowers to someone. Of course, the whole symbolism wouldn't work out if there were three or four or more (you get the idea) flowers. You give odd number for luck, while even numbers... are associated with funerals and mourning. If, let's say, Leith got those flowers before Harley was turned into a machine, that'd be subtle foreshadowing, hinting at his later regret.
