I'm going to scrape the pin on pin option and go with a single layer version.

As it stands right now with a single layer pin if I ordered ten of them I would have to sell them for $45 a piece to break even, that comes with glow in the dark, sandblast effects, and diamond dust effect. If I scrapped those effects it would reduce the price slightly. And if I could order more that would help the cost as well.

It's honestly kind of a good thing the kickstarter failed because I didn't account for the money taken by stripe afterwards, I really wasn't giving myself enough wiggle room.

I did a kickstarter that I felt more sure would succeed and it did so I got to go through the whole process and see how it works and I'm thinking I'll relaunch this kickstarter in March, which I know seems far away but I'm hoping I'll have everything better prepared and organized and hopefully it will be more successful.

The Vision kuckstarter has 16 days left, and we are only at 19% funded, so please check it out.

Giveaway Info

I pulled one of each with a slight noticeable flaw to giveaway to anyone who shares this post here or on my instagram between now and when the pins go live on Monday.

I'll use one of the random wheel selection tools to pick three names from those who share, and each will receive one of the pins.

I have finally apparently filled out everything I needed to get to the review step.

So I'm going to submit for review, and it says it can take up to three days, then I can launch whenever I am ready.

This is my first kickstarter, and it's been a process. The thing is, I thought it would be a much faster process. I am so sorry for anyone waiting for it to happen, honestly if I had relized how long it would take me to get it all sorted I would have waited to mention it, but that ship has sailed.

I chose to do kickstarter instead of trying to do a preorder on my own shop because I wanted to have a safety net for both me and the people ordering. I kind of feel like I'm already disappointing people, and it hasn't even started. But deep breath and forward I go.

Hopefully, I know what I'm doing now, and everything will move forward more smoothly, and any future kickstarters will be quicker. Also, I won't mention them until the launch page is ready, lesson learned on the front.

So, once it's past review, I will have a launch page to share with everyone. It will include the mock ups for the filler pins, the big pin, and the chibi Merle stretch goal pin.

Thank you to everyone who shared so far, this was a nightmare for my sister, horses have been her life since we were little and running an equine business for as long as she has means she had to say some hard goodbyes over the years. Now I couldn't name every horse that's ever been in her care over her decades of training horses and riders but I can tell you the name of every one she lost because they all mattered and she always made sure they got the send off they deserved.

Three months ago, my sister sold a horse to what was supposed to be his loving forever home. She has since learned that he has been handed off and is now in a kill pen. I'm at FanExpo Boston this weekend, so I just snapped a picture of my pins in my ita bag so you could see what's up for grabs.

So I'm still struggling with the keychain design, so I'm thinking of doing the kickstarter with just the pins and just releasing the keychain later on separately. I managed to fix the verification issue i was having on kickstarter, so I believe I can move forward.

I'm also thinking of having the original painting I did framed and adding it has a kickstarter reward. It would be a 1 of 1, and it would probably be a bit expensive, I have to find out how much framing cost.

Things have been a little all over the place so I’m not as far along as I would like to be but it is moving forward. I think I’m happy with the Merle chibi head design, keychainartwork still needs a lot of work, but I’m hoping to have that done this weekend.

I started putting stuff together in kickstarter, I’m waiting for some things to be verified on their end, hopefully that won’t take too long.

The Queen has arrived

I'm still working on grading her but she will be in my shop Friday July 25th at 1pm EST

Four arrived with color flaws. They are extras, they don't affect my math, and so I've decided to do a giveaway like I did for the missing print Dabis.

Three of them are missing a red dot, and one has a spot of green where there should be blue.
