“You worry me, Rey.”

She rolled her eyes at him “why?” Kylo placed a hand on her hip, pulling her in as they walked. “Because, I doubt you swim very well and I don’t want to get all wet jumping in to save you!” He laughed.

Rey playfully pushed him away from him. “I can swim, sleemo!” She insisted. Kylo laughed, “I said you probably can’t swim well, not that you’re incapable.”

Rey sighed, “fine, I’m not the greatest swimmer in the galaxy.” Kylo grabbed her waist pulling her back in, “that’s alright, I’ll teach you. There’s a beautiful lake not too far from here, I’ll take you sometime soon.”

Rey smiled, “I’d like that actually.”

Whether you're here for the lore, the memes, the heartbreak, or the fanfics, there’ll be something for you. And don't worry — it's all low pressure and totally for fun. Jump in on the days that call to you!

Chapter 23:

"They didn’t want to kill each other personally. It was still their duty to, more so hers than his. But Kylo hoped she’d grown a little more attached to him in the past few days and maybe that duty would be harder to follow through on. Still they fought on opposite sides of a war, one Kylo felt confident he was winning. Did she really think The Resistance still stood a chance? If she could understand her ship was sinking would she finally join him? Would she understand that if what he believed to be true, was true, the danger that lies ahead was much more dangerous than The First Order?

“My brain was quiet. For the first time in my life- silence. But, now… I fear the voices are back and I’m terrified of the implications.” Kylo said in a hollow voice, gazing out his dark window. Rey leaned in closer, desiring to know more. “Voices?” She asked."

Chapter Twenty Two:

"“Darkness rises and light to meet it.” Snokes words came to him in a moment of clairaudience. That was that answer, he could feel it. How is that the answer? What did that mean? If he could feel something darker than himself… was he falling towards the light?

Kylo pressed the fear down and explored the thought deeper. What could possibly be darker than himself? Was Kylo truly shifting towards the light, would that be his ruin? Would he lose all his power? Yes, he could feel this darkness- but it wasn’t his own he realized. He reached further and further into the force, desperate for answers, pushing back at whatever was trying to block him from seeing the truth."
