What: The hard-working Dwarven clans of Khaz Modan, as well as other denizens of Azeroth, wish to host an artisan’s festival to honor centuries of fine dedication to masterful craftsmanship! This will be the Summer installment in this seasonal event, so come and embrace the various cultures of our world!
Not a Dwarf or Alliance? No problem! All are welcome to join! Bring plenty of Elixirs of Tongues!
When: Saturday July 18th, 2020, 6-9 PST. Opening ceremonies will take place outside the entrance to Upper Blackrock Spire at 6pm.

What you can do:
As a visitor, you are welcome to roam around the festival grounds, enjoy the night atmosphere and some good casual RP! Come by and shop around, purchase fine goods from master craftsmen and women around the city or submit work orders. Enjoy great entertainment, fireworks, drink, and food! Even register to participate in any sub-events we may have (like a drinking contest or friendly duels).
As a vendor, you can register for a booth to show and sell your wares! We like to spread everyone out along the inner ring of Blackrock Mountain, allowing tons of space for different players to form small gatherings. Blacksmiths, engineers, scribes, even chemists and cooks are welcome!
If you can craft something, wish to take on an apprentice, or teach your trade, you can register. Don’t worry, there are no fees or anything! We just want to keep track of how many people want to fill this position. Please get your booth approved beforehand!
As an entertainer, you can claim a spot to put on your act. Whether you are a bard, have a show, or wish to provide games for others to play, you’re welcome to fill this role! We usually have a bard wandering around the festival playing actual music using addons like TRP3 Extended and Musician, so this is really just limited to creativity.
We definitely plan to spread you guys out so that you’re not being overwhelmed by RP chatter, so it’s very important that we get you set-up in a spot early!
If you don’t want to do any of these things, but wish to be a part of the festival, you are welcome to volunteer to help out where/when it is needed. If you wish to get involved in organizing the event, please contact Lynae, Lissianä or Bathildis in game! I look forward to hearing from you!

BEER!
Make sure you come with an empty gut so that you can sample all seven beers from our own Ironforge Brewery! Once again, we will be teaming up with the popular Cask ‘n’ Anvil tavern as they provide plenty of food to complete your festival experience.
Beers provided are all traditional Dwarven recipes, new and old.
Brewfest Märzen: Malty, sweet, and strong. This lager has been fermenting in the cold snow of Ironforge since the Spring. This is the featured Brewfest Brew!
Diamond King Kristallweizen: A crystal clear wheat ale. Light and crisp on the tongue, yielding a refreshing citrus flavor.
Anvilmar Altbier: Copper-colored ale, brewed like a lager. The lager fermentation leads to a crisper, cleaner beer with a muted fruity flavor.
Dun Morogh Doppelbock: A strong, malty, dark lager.
Bronzebeard Blonde: An easy-drinking, golden ale. Subtly sweet with just a pinch of bitterness on the finish.
Ironstout’s Iron Stout: A rich, malty, and potent Dwarven stout. This iron-black brew is the clan’s flagship.
Snowdrift Shandy: An easy-drinking option at festivals, this half-hefeweizen, half-juice concoction is popular with light drinkers.
FOOD!
Food at this year’s Ironstout tent will once again be catered by Modarin Slatefist, owner of the popular Cask ‘n’ Anvil tavern in Ironforge. The full menu has yet to be announced; however, several traditional festival snacks will be provided.
Brewfest Pretzel: The essential Brewfest snack, complete with stone-ground mustard, or beer-cheese for dipping.
Giant Iced Cookie: A rune-stone shaped ginger-cookie, iced with a personalized message!
Coldridge Cupcake: Large chocolate cupcakes with fresh berry filling, straight from Coldridge Valley.
GAMES!
We are thrilled to announce the return of several classics, with the addition of several new exciting games! Be sure to participate for some exciting prizes! We should have another Mekgineer’s Chopper, several souvenir steins, and magically created alemental pets to give away, along with other fantastic rewards.
Participants in these mini-games will earn tickets that may be redeemed for additional rewards. Prepare for the return of our drinking contests, drunken ram racing, and drunken brawling! New to the Fest will be Booze Ball, Tankard Basher Drunken Ram Jousting, and the Wolpertinger Hop-Off Drunken Relay! Additionally, you may also choose to bark for Ironstout’s Brewery, or help restock the tent for even more tickets. Who knows? Will you earn enough to get a brew named after you?
FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
All additional proceeds earned will benefit the Alliance War efforts in Kul Tiras, as well as the refugees and victims of The Blood War.

We’re back! Come visit us! Can’t wait to see you. This is an IC brew-tent much like the Barleybrews and the Thunderbrews, run by some pretty fantastic volunteers!
About Time and Location:
First of all, we are located on Wyrmrest Accord - US!
ICly we will be in a tent like all of the other vendors, but as no-one has seen the new Brewfest Revamp this year, we have no idea just yet! SORRY! If the layout hasn’t changed too much, you can OOCly find us on the Podium where High Tinker has been giving his opening ceremony speech for the past few years.
As far as hours of operation are concerned, I plan on running the booth every night that I possibly can; however, real life will - as I’m sure - get in the way. Just check nightly, and there might be some RP going on! September 20th is a definite ongoing all-day event. Anything after will most likely be held from 6-9 pm PST (server time). Other definite nights will be on all Sundays during the duration of the holiday, and our closing ceremonies on October 5th.
The absolute most important time to make it will be opening night: September the 20th at 6 pm server time.
Side note: Saturday, September 28th is the Dwarven community’s monthly Dwarven Clan Moot, and running it in conjunction will take the utmost priority. BREWMOOT is one of the best nights of the year, so if you want to see a slice of The Mead Hall Dwarven community of WrA, that is a great night to attend! Just as a heads up: Brewfest goers will definitely get attention; however, the Dwarven community has the evening reserved and takes priority.
About Add-ons:
A lot of our RP is run via an add-on called TRP3 Extended. While it’s not mandatory that you have the add-on, to complete quests, earn tickets, and exchange them for prizes, you will be required to use have it.
I will personally be using TRP3′s about section for information regarding the festival tent. If you want to see menus and everything, be sure to have at least one viable Roleplay add-on!
Lastly, we can get pretty busy! If you get anxiety in crowds, the addon Listener will save your life!
About the Beers:
Beers provided will be TRP3e items; however, there are also in-game substitutes, as well. Even if you don’t have the add-ons, please come RP with us!!! <3
About the Food:
All food will be RP and in-game food only. No add-ons here!
About Payment:
All items given out for this festival are free OOCly! Payment is purely an RP construct, so please don’t give us your hard earned gold unless you just really want to. Providing these drinks is usually no big deal; however, tips are appreciated.
About the Games:
TRP3e will only be absolutely required for the daily quest games. The rest of the games can be completed without add-ons.
Special note about the drinking contest. The drinking contest will be hosted fairly regularly, and is a /roll based system. The prizes for the contest are very real, and the drinking contest tournament will only be held on certain days. The prizes for the tournament include in-game mounts and pets!
