VERSION 1: THE PERSONA

the persona represents the social mask that each of us “wear” in our interaction with others in society. The different frames in one photo represent their different personas

VERSION 2: THE ANIMA

In the meeting with the anima/us, it is a contact with levels of the psyche which has the potential to lead into the deepest and highest…reaches that the ego can attain. Which explain the proud poses in front of the mirror. 

VERSION 3: THE SELF

it’s plain, yet you can see the focus of the photos is only on themselves. the self is our life’s goal, for it is the completest expression of that fateful combination we call individuality.

VERSION 4: THE SHADOW

They are posing with shadows present in the background. “Unfortunately there can be no doubt that man is, on the whole, less good than he imagines himself or wants to be. Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.
