To say that heterosexual men are heterosexual is simply to say that they have sex (engage in intimate relationships exclusively with the opposite sex, i.e., with women). Most heterosexual men reserve everything or almost everything related to love exclusively for other men. The people they admire, respect, adore, revere, honor, imitate, idolize, and feel deep affection for, whom they are willing to teach and from whom they are willing to learn, and whose respect, admiration, recognition, honor, reverence, and love they crave… are, in the vast majority of cases, other men. In their relationships with women, what passes for respect is kindness, generosity, or paternalism; what passes for honor is putting them on a pedestal. From women, they expect devotion, service, and sex. The culture of heterosexual men is homoerotic.
