To anyone who stumbles across my blog, hi! I go by rain and yes I am extremely late to the Tumblr game lmao

I made this Tumblr mainly in hopes of connecting with fellow camren shippers, yes I know the fandom is not what it once was on here but I know there's still shippers lingering around these parts still to this day

I'm on Wattpad and exclusively write camren fics to keep the fandom alive with fresh new stories so if you're wanting to dive back into the camren fandom there then here's my profile!

I dipped out of the fandom for an extremely long time and only recently got sucked back in during summer 2025, let's be real though you never truly get off this sinking ship 😂

Exactly anon, we can still love the other girls but not really be super into ot4. I love those girls and support them but without Camila there it just isn't the same and it never will be.

I will be fair to them, a lot of that shade was shoved on because of management BUT yeah they were also just hella shady towards Camila back then even though she wasn't an angel either.

Honestly anon I don't think we're ever gonna get ot5 again to any capacity.

I know Camila left and technically isn't part of 5h anymore but we all know she always will be part of it whether the girls themselves want to admit it or not.

It seems they're planning something for the anniversary but honestly I just don't see myself being super hyped if Camila isn't involved too.

It sucks and it's sad asf that it's still at a point all five of them can't gather to do a one off special performance or just something but ig this is just how life goes.

I love all of the girls but ot4 just doesn't do it for me honestly, I have and always will be an ot5 stan

Yes I think I have seen that video! As for the drama aspect I won't say I know exactly what it's about but I'll have a guess at what I think it might have been about.

This probably set off quite a few CS honestly, assuming majority of CS dislike Shawn solely for the fact him and Camila were dating and to see Lauren somewhat be civil with him could have ruffled feathers of CS who of course wanted Lauren to maybe be trying to 'win' Camilla back from him.

A lot of shippers create this rivalry narrative which I have never been a part of because although I am a CS, the girls have had other partners and will continue to do so and that is life.

They cannot be told who they must date or like, which a lot of shippers seem to think they are entitled to dictate who they go out with. It's icky asf.

The 'drama' could of been for an entirely different reason but I'm just assuming through my opinion it was probably just down to seeing Shawn and Lauren be somewhat civil given the whole shipping culture aspect of Shawmila vs Camren.

I could be hella off cause I was checked out of the fandom at that time but I still think my overall guess still applies to the situation.

I think both Shawn and Camila are insanely talented lyricists like genuinely but that song is genuinely absolute trash!

I like some of Shawn's music and ofc love Camila's so this is nothing to do with being a camren shipper at all, I actually feel really disappointed they didn't produce an actual good hit song.

They had a lot of potential to do so much more with it. Romance being marketed as a Shawmila shitshow makes me annoyed asf because I loveeeee the songs but sometimes I randomly get the ick thinking about all the PR stuff from that time as I listen to it 😂

Still a great album which was only PARTIALLY about Shawn imo lol

Lauren rlly confuses me which is why I kinda stopped being a huge huge fan of hers recently but there's literally a tweet of her replying to someone telling her to mute "camren", "camila" ,"camz", "tyren", etc. and she thanks them, but she never did it. someone told me maybe her account was used by tara idk who tf tara is but yea. the only reason I can think of is maybe she wants the attention? if she doesn't know how she could legit just search it up if its so triggering for her. ik for a fact she hates the CS or maybe just the over the top ones like thats obvious and I cant blame her but I dont get why she wouldn't do something to change it.

Yeah I briefly replied to this before but not in much detail so no worries! Tumblr does that for me too on my phone browser which is hella annoying.

I said this awhile back but part of it is in my opinion to do with the fact that a lot of Lauren's fans are camren shippers. She isn't stupid, she's well aware a vast majority are camren supporters so she knows by blocking those terms or certain names etc... it could cause her account to lose viewership.

Lauren's independent so if she was making money say off tt, that extra money helps pay the bills. If you block out a source many fans love (the term camren etc...) it may cause her to lose quite a lot of viewership and thus potentially lose out on money.

To me there can't be any other reason for her choosing not to mute those terms because it's clear as day how much she hates the whole shipping culture in general (especially camren) so why wouldn't you block those words?

Lauren and Camila will ALWAYS deal with the immense shipping with each other or even others(shawmila and tyren etc...) it's just part of what comes with fame so there's a weak argument that maybe Lauren knows it won't entirely make a difference but...

It wouldn't ever cause it to go away but we all know it certainly would limit the amount she would have to remotely see anything like that.

Lauren's feelings have always been valid asf but I have never fallen into the entire trap of being entirely on her side because when certain actions that can be taken to help aren't then it begs the question of 'why?'

People will probably be like 'yeah but she shouldn't have to do that etc...' which is true BUT none of us should have to see things we don't wanna see constantly (for example all the political stuff in general annoys me sm so I have to try my best to filter it out) that's a part of life for ALL OF US.

I know she doesn't really check her comments much though and that could be another factor but over the years she used to check away more often and it seems she never did mute those terms so it's quite interesting to me honestly.

Lauren hates CS which she's entitled to entirely but it is just really confusing why she wouldn't block/mute those terms which trigger/annoy her sm to at least try and simmer it down somewhat on her page.

It's hypocritical, which we all are at points in our lives so no one get sensitive about me saying this please lmao

That's why I am not a fan of her these days, so much back and fourth energy and hypocrisy on matters it's genuinely confusing and exhausting to listen to.

Sorry for the rant lol I will always hold love for her and all of them but the only girl I follow a bit more is Camila. But they all have moments I cba with them honestly, it's human nature 😂

I think the synchronization between Lauren and Camila has always been one of the biggest indictors those two were close beyond a friendship level.

Of course best friends can be hella in sync but I'm talking about all the indirects to one another even while in the band, back during the peak Tumblr days for the camren fandom those two were constantly communicating through reblogs and posts.

The indirects even post Camila leaving between them definitely made it seem like they did reconnect for awhile and potentially try again with whatever their situationship was. (Which ultimately ended once again sadly).

I think these days it's tough to say honestly, I don't personally think they speak anymore if I'm honest. I also don't think they really are on good terms per say but it's more so just like 'meh whatever' at this point.

I get where people are coming from and given the past of those two and their constant synchronizations it's easy enough to still draw the same conclusions from the little coincidence that still occur to this day.

I do think it's in the middle because again with the past of how they used to be I get people reading into any little things nowadays but I also do think people reach because of the lack of camren content there has been over the past few years.

It would genuinely shock me if the modern recent little signs were actually them two being in sync like the good old days. I just think atp so much time has passed that they really just don't have even a surface level connection never mind anything deeper.

But that's just me, people can think otherwise so long as they aren't overstepping boundaries with the girls.

Lastly, I do think they did share a soulmate connection a long time ago but I don't think it's been that way for a long time 🥺
