networking is honestly so weird to me because what if i just spent a week at a summer school in a subject that i think could be useful for me to develop my phd project, and i chatted at length about my project with one of the presenting professors, who told me that he often collaborates with one of my two phd supervisors, and was also interested in my project, even tentatively discussing how his framework could be applied to my specific project, should i follow him on linkedin? or would that be rude?
