Part 2

I'll add some important background information you should know.

Originally, Ashborn was known as Fragment of Brilliant Light. He fell in love with Antares, believing that Antares loved him as well because he returned his affection.

However, to Antares, it was nothing more than entertainment.

Back then, Ashborn and the others were still young and naïve. The Rulers strongly opposed Ashborn's feelings for Antares. They repeatedly warned him that Antares was only playing with his emotions, but Ashborn refused to listen and continued to stay by his side.

Later, Ashborn accidentally overheard a conversation between Antares and the other Monarchs, as well as his subordinates. During that conversation, Antares openly admitted that he did not love Ashborn and that the entire relationship had been nothing more than amusement to him.

Ashborn's heart was shattered.

On that very same day, the Rulers launched their attack against the Absolute Being.

Ashborn defended his creator for as long as he could, but in the end, he failed to save him. The Rulers did not want to fight Ashborn, but they understood that as long as he stood in their way, they could never accomplish their goal.

In his final moments before everything changed, Ashborn regretted only two things: that he had failed to protect his creator, and that his relationship with Antares had ended this way.

Eventually, the powers of Shadow and Death awakened within him. From that moment on, Ashborn was no longer the person he used to be. He became cold, distant, and emotionally detached from everyone.

He joined the Monarchs for one reason alone—to take revenge on the Rulers. Yet even the Monarchs eventually betrayed him.

From Baran, he learned that Antares was actually afraid of him.

At that point, Ashborn no longer knew what to think. His mind was filled with confusion.

He decided that he had had enough.

After sealing away his powers and taking on a human form, he descended to Earth, where Il-Hwan fell in love with him.

As I mentioned before, Il-Hwan spent many years earning Ashborn's trust, helping him believe in others again, and encouraging him to open his heart. After everything he had been through, trusting anyone had become incredibly difficult for Ashborn, but Il-Hwan managed to break down the walls he had built around himself.

In time, Ashborn fell in love once again and gradually became the person he had once been.

Amaryllis is the name of our character. The Absolute Being created him for its own entertainment.

Our adorable Amaryllis—his name means "spark." The Absolute Being created him to bring greenery and life to planets and gardens.

Amaryllis looks like a Ruler, but instead of wings, he wears a cloak decorated with lily patterns. Flowers bloom on his head, while vines wrap around his arms and legs.

Amaryllis can grow absolutely anything that exists—and even things that do not exist.

He can also create plant soldiers, similar to those in Plants vs. Zombies and many other games.

I like the idea that Amaryllis would be the Absolute Being's favorite because he produces delicious harvests, makes wine, and creates all kinds of drinks. I think you get what I mean.

Amaryllis and Ashborn, who was known at the time as the Fragment of Brilliant Light, were very close because they were created at the same time.

Amaryllis has a different relationship with the Rulers and the Monarchs because he does not fight in wars. Instead, he serves as the Absolute Being's advisor and messenger. Amaryllis is simply an observer.

I'll add more to the story when I have some free time.

I really like the idea of Jinwoo being a farmer or a gardener.

Wouldn't that be fun?

They have a farm, a beautiful orchard and garden filled with different fruits and vegetables, and they own all of it.

I think Il-Hwan taught Jinwoo how to take care of livestock and tend the vegetable garden.

Jinah and Kyung-Hye also help care for the flowers and fruit trees.

When Il-Hwan disappeared and Kyung-Hye fell into Eternal Slumber, Jinwoo and Jinah had to take care of everything on their own.

Jinwoo had to drop out of school and devote himself entirely to the farm and the garden. Jinah helped as well, but Jinwoo wouldn't let her quit school.

At the same time, Jinwoo continued working as a hunter to pay the utility bills and, possibly, the taxes.

Yue and Jinwoo both stared at the book that had dropped from the monster Yue had just defeated.

Yue: So... what's the plan?

Jinwoo: Wait, we actually had a plan?

Yue: ...No. Still, I should be able to sell this on the black market. That shouldn't be too difficult. But...

Yue glanced at the enormous pile of monster corpses, mana crystals, and other loot scattered throughout the dungeon.

Yue: I don't think we can do much with all of this right now.

Jinwoo: We're not taking the monster bodies anyway. What worries me more is how we're going to sell all these mana crystals and everything else.

Yue: Good question. We'll figure it out as we go. For now, I'll just store everything in my pocket dimension.

Jinwoo let out a heavy sigh and started helping Yue.

After collecting everything, the two of them left the dungeon just before it closed.

Yue: Do you think we're having fried chicken again today?

Jinwoo: At this rate, you and Jinah are going to get fat.

Yue: (⊙▂⊙) JINWOO! HOW DARE YOU?!

Jinwoo: W-Wait, Yue! Stop! Hahaha... That tickles! Stop!

Imagine if Jinwoo or Jinah awakened an ability where every lie they tell automatically becomes reality, no matter what. Or, for example, the more money you spend, the more you receive in return.

Damn... I know how ridiculous that sounds. It's absolutely insane. ヽ(∀° )人( °∀)ノ

I don't even know how to explain it, but if I actually end up writing this...

What if the Rulers and the Monarchs were all brothers and sisters? I think that would be pretty funny—at least to me, and maybe to other people as well.

The Absolute Being (AB) would be a parent who has no interest in raising their children, so they simply leave them to fend for themselves.

As far as I'm concerned, Antares and Ashborn would be the oldest siblings.

I think Ashborn would make an amazing older brother. As for Antares... honestly, I'm not so sure.

It would also be fun to include the Itarim, the gods from Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. Seeing their reactions to the Absolute Being's children would be hilarious.

I could also change a few things about the war between the Monarchs and the Rulers. For the siblings themselves, it might just be a form of childish rivalry or family competition, while everyone else sees it as a horrifying war.

Ashborn and Antares are married. The Rulers and the Monarchs have lived in peace and harmony ever since Ashborn and Antares got married.

Everyone was happy...

Except the Absolute Being.

Ashborn and Antares had two children: Elpis and Aria—a son and a daughter.

Everyone adored and loved them.

They had many uncles and aunts among both the Monarchs and the Rulers.

But then...

Something terrible happened.

The Absolute Being took control of both the Monarchs and the Rulers.

First, they killed Ashborn.

Then they killed the two children, who were completely confused and didn't understand what was happening.

After that, the war between the Rulers and the Monarchs began.

When Ashborn received the powers of the Shadow Monarch, he used Arise on all of his fallen soldiers and on those who had died protecting them.

But he couldn't do the same for his children.

He failed.

Their souls had been completely destroyed.

Ashborn broke.

He swore to avenge everything that had happened.

At the same time, the Rulers killed the Absolute Being.

Ashborn then joined the Monarchs to rebuild his strength and his army so he could destroy all of them.

As in the original canon, the betrayal happened, and Ashborn killed Baran.

As Baran was dying, the mind control finally disappeared.

In his final moments, he regained all of his memories of what had happened.

He completely broke.

His last thoughts were of Ashborn...

...and of Elpis and Aria.

Everything else continued according to canon.

When the Monarchs eventually died, they too regained control of themselves in their final moments.

They remembered everything.

And they broke.

The same happened to the Rulers.

Once the Absolute Being's control over them disappeared, they recovered all of their memories of what had happened...

And they, too, broke.

Oh, and one more thing...

Elpis is Jinwoo.

Aria is Jinah.

I'm definitely not crying while writing this... ( ཀ ʖ̯ ཀ)

What if Ashborn and Park Kyung-Hye were actually the same person?

After countless betrayals, endless wars, and being chased by both Monarchs and Rulers, Ashborn finally grew tired of everything.

He decided he wanted to spend a few peaceful years living like an ordinary human.

So he descended to Earth, sealing away most of his power and taking on a human identity.

There, he met Sung Il-Hwan.

For Il-Hwan...

It was love at first sight.

Ashborn, however, was far from easy to win over.

Il-Hwan spent a long time courting him, refusing to give up.

Eventually, his persistence paid off.

The two got married.

Years later, they had two children:

Sung Jinwoo

Sung Jinah

For the first time in an unimaginably long life...

Eshin was quietly sitting in the kitchen with Jinah, watching TV while Jinwoo was happily cooking something.

Meanwhile, Antares, Ashborn, the other Monarchs, and the Rulers—who were all in their tiny forms, no bigger than a human pinky finger—watched Jinwoo with complete confusion.

To them, what he was doing was incredibly strange.

After all, they had never cooked before.

They had no idea what cooking even was.

They simply stared as Jinwoo chopped vegetables, added spices, and carefully prepared the meal.

"...What is he doing?" one of the Monarchs finally asked.

"No idea," another replied.

"Why is he putting grass into the meat?"

"Those aren't just grass," Eshin answered without looking away from the TV. "They're herbs."

The tiny Monarchs and Rulers looked even more confused.

"Herbs?"

Jinah smiled.

"They make the food taste better."

None of them believed her.

There was no way a handful of leaves could improve meat.

A little later...

Jinwoo placed the finished dishes on the table.

The aroma filled the entire kitchen.

Eshin, Jinah, and Jinwoo began eating as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

The tiny Monarchs and Rulers cautiously accepted equally tiny portions.

They took one bite.

...

Silence.

Another bite.

Then another.

Every pair of eyes slowly widened.

"..."

"...This..."

"...How is this possible?"

"The meat tastes completely different!"

"It shouldn't taste this good!"

"How can a few herbs change the flavor so much?!"

Jinwoo couldn't help but smile.

"That's what cooking is."

The Monarchs and Rulers stared at their tiny plates in complete shock.

After fighting wars for countless ages...

The greatest discovery of their lives turned out to be...

Seasoning meat.

Antares and Ashborn were fighting as usual. This was still back when Ashborn was one of the Rulers.

During the battle...

Antares somehow tripped.

Don't ask how.

No one knows.

He simply lost his footing and fell face-first straight into Ashborn's chest.

...

Silence.

An awkward, deafening silence spread across the battlefield.

Ashborn completely froze.

Antares froze too...

For about two seconds.

Then, with unbelievable audacity, he absentmindedly patted Ashborn's chest as if trying to figure out what he had crashed into.

Ashborn's eyes widened in complete disbelief.

"..."

"...Antares."

At that exact moment, every Ruler simultaneously turned toward Antares.

Their expressions became terrifying.

Without saying a single word, they all raised their spears and pointed them directly at him.

The battlefield fell into an even deeper silence.

One of the Rulers finally spoke in a cold voice:

"...Release our brother."

Another tightened his grip on his spear.

"...Or die."

Antares slowly looked up.

Then at the dozens of spears aimed at him.

"..."

"...This may be a misunderstanding."

Let's say we have a brand-new character. He was created by the Absolute Being (AB) because AB was too lazy to build and manage everything personally.

In short, our new character is the Overseer—the one who creates worlds, writes their stories, builds them from scratch, and basically handles everything behind the scenes.

And...

He doesn't even get paid for it.

So he's constantly annoyed.

Meet Eruem.

Like the Rulers, he originally had wings. The problem is... he hated them so much that one day he simply ripped them off.

It happens.

Eruem is the architect, writer, and director of every world. He's the one doing almost all the work, and he's completely exhausted by it. He's complained about it countless times to Ashborn, with whom he shares a very close relationship.

However, the Absolute Being gave him a strict set of rules:

He may only observe and is forbidden from interfering.

He repairs worlds only after everything has already fallen apart.

If something goes wrong, it's his job to fix it.

And that's exactly what frustrates him the most.

Even Ashborn feels sorry for him.

To be honest, almost everyone who knows him does.

Eruem is an open, emotional, and explosive person with an endless stream of ideas. He loves talking about them with Ashborn.

He rarely interacts with the Monarchs or the Rulers because his rules forbid him from interfering in their affairs.

Ashborn is the only exception.

Since Ashborn is a fragment of the Absolute Being, Eruem is allowed to speak with him.

Jinwoo:

"I've been wandering around forever and still haven't found a single mana crystal. This is ridiculous."

Yue:

"Do you know why?"

Jinwoo:

"Why?"

Yue:

"Because you are the mana crystal."

Jinwoo:

"How sweet."

Yue:

"Just as dense and just as impossible to break."

Jinwoo:

"..."

Yue bursts into laughter while Jinwoo silently stares at him, clearly reconsidering why they're friends in the first place.
