I figure I may as well start with a pinned post so here it is.

This is a snz kink blog so minors DNI!

I'm 19, I use He/Him, and I'm AuDHD so sorry if i come across awkwardly.

I want to make friends so please dm me but nothing sexually explicit please :). Also please dm me if you follow from a non-kink blog to let me know that you aren’t a vanilla.

I follow every sneeze blog I come across (and don’t violate the dni for) that’s been active in the last few months.

I'm into (fictional) contagion and mess as well as sneezing so you'll find stuff related to that here.

I probably won't post much but I will post my writing here so, hopefully you guys enjoy. I even have a fic master post here. I also live for world building so if you have any (and I do mean any) questions about my worlds or characters, dm me or drop me an ask and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

As promised, a sneeze survey has been created. The survey is here and the data is here. I haven't done any data visualisation stuff yet but it will come eventually. Please reblog for reach.

I've updated the survey slightly and have started trying to sort out the data, but haven't quite got much visualisation sorted yet. Insights so far are (with the caveat of very limited data) people sneeze significantly more with colds than during allergy season and both allergies and colds make people more likely to sneeze in multiples.

Edit: Also, if anyone has any suggestions for questions I should have asked but didn’t or interesting patterns to look for in the data, let me know.

Edit2: With the addition of more data I can add that how many times someone sneezes per set appears unrelated to the frequency of sets and that the median on this data is significantly lower than the mean.

I've made another wav, featuring talking (rambling), letouts, stifles and probably more. No sneezes beyond the 13 minute mark but I do continue rambling about my survey. You can tell that I have absolutely no ability to hold a train of thought in this.

If I created a snz survey, would people fill it out? Like I’m thinking about doing data collection on frequency of sneezes and how sneezing multiples affects that and stuff and would make it all into a google form and publish the (anonymised) data but I won’t bother figuring out how to dump data into sheets to make charts and stuff if no-one would actually fill it out. If I do do it, the form will be pretty comprehensive but will be set up so you only need to answer the questions you want to.

there really is something incredibly hot about those scenarios revolving around an argument, like "i'm trying to be mad at you right now", but the other person just can't stop sneezing.

especially when it's completely unintentional, but completely unavoidable at the same time. it's the additional layers of subtext; it's the "oh god, i don't mean to-i'm not doing this on purpose, i swear, i just-i can't stop-"

it's the extra layer of humiliation there, the "i feel guilty about this, like, oh, god, that must really suck for them, i feel really bad, but i really can't help it-!"

ok please dont be mean, or talk abt killing spiders—jumping spiders are my special interest. if you like spiders look at this cutie i got to hold yesterday. poor thing’s leg is messed up but she still moved around just fine. i found her in my plant’s pot. i was re-potting it and she crawled out of the soil lol. i put her back outside but it always makes my day when i get to hold one of these little babies. :’)

i rlly miss my pet regal jumping spider :’)

just wanted to share if anyone else likes spiders. probably unlikely but

Big spider under the cut. Possibly less cute than some of the adorable jumping spiders earlier in this thread but pretty cool looking.

Also, on a semi-related note, has anyone else here read children of earth? It’s a science fiction novel which follows the development of a civilisation of spiders, and it’s rly good. The author (Adrian Tchaikovsky) is very good at writing characters which feel alien but you can still understand the thought process of.

Second Wav of the day apparently. This one I actually recorded today rather than ages ago. CW for slightly gross noises as I wipe my nose. Also, these were all uncovered and there is a picture of the mirror after I finished under the cut. Also, if anyone has the issue of not feeling like chhinkni works that well for them, try just taking loads because this was 20+ sneezes which is vastly more than I've ever sneezed without chhinkni

Another wav for your (hopefully) listening pleasure. This is two doses of chhinkni stapled together with minimal editing to remove some of the longer stretches of silence. Also cw for two noseblows at the end. I do plan to eventually make talkies or even scenarios but I'm currently living in halls at uni so it isn't happening soon

I do wonder to what extent we’re propping up the chhinkni market, because who else is buying it and why. As far as I can tell it doesn’t work as a decongestant and I assume most people don’t like making themself sneeze so it’s kinda weird (although good for us obviously) that someone is still making it.

like if the snot your nose produces doesn’t drain out of your nose from gravity does that mean that irritants get more stuck since they aren’t draining out and perhaps…the only way to get them out…is to sneeze…

This could have fun fic potential if one astronaut has a particularly sensitive nose and can’t quite master the training before going to space. actually, it's sorta the opposite...astronauts sneeze as much as 100x/day in space. They do just use a tissue or towel though, and tbh small droplets aren't actually that big of a problem, the filtration systems are pretty damn good.

That said, sneezing while on eva would suckkkk, afaik they just look over to the side to try not to get it all over the visor. imagine having a strong photic sneeze reflex and being on EVA when the sun rises over the earth
