Here’s a fun scenario: say that you’re in a long-term relationship with someone and just for fundies this crazy thing happens and the whole world is in a global pandemic that is spread through the air being in close proximity and you know bodily fluids.

Now say you and your partner both enjoy smoking weed. You smoke every day, you smoke together, that kind of thing.

So one day your partner tells you that they smoked with someone that they don’t really know all that well. You asked them not to do it again because there’s a pandemic, there has been multiple new strains of this virus, and you aware that most people generally don’t seek safety precautions anymore.

It also doesn’t help that your partner is more susceptible to getting Covid than you are.

Anyways, your partner agrees to no longer smoke with other people, so you thought everything was fine, until they tell you that they smoked with another stranger. Literally someone they don’t even know.

You called them out on it. You end up in a very very big fight over this. Then literally two days later they do it again.

What would you even do at this point?

An Introvert's Journal

One thing I’ve realized during the first semester of college is how much I love spending time with myself. I already knew that I love spending time BY myself, but not with myself.

I take time to eat with myself in the dining hall or at one of the many fast food places on campus. I take myself to the gym. I have movie nights with myself.

I feel like so many people are focused on never being alone that they don’t realize how important it is. But it’s not about being alone, it’s about spending time with YOURSELF. It’s about focusing on YOURSELF without all of the distractions.

So, my fellow introverts, I want you to read this and this fall/winter or spring/summer (depending on which hemisphere you might be in) spend time with yourself.

idk what introvert needs to hear this but please check yourself when ur saying stuf like “staying in your room all weekend by yourself watching netflix is much better than going out and being social” because speaking from experience it’s very easy to confuse being introverted and isolating yourself to cope with anxiety and depression please reach out to your friends and make an effort to live your life and say yes to things, there’s no harm in enjoying your own company but please try to avoid shutting yourself away because you’ve convinced yourself that you’re better alone it’s seriously a recipe for loneliness and will really fuck with your self worth

My entire paycheck of $223.03 has to go toward this from being physically unable to work and our electric is going to be shut off next week.
