Cheers to another year of self exploration, growth, and roller coasting the whole way 🖤

in celebration of the new moon, I practiced letting go. something I struggle with but have been feeling pulled to do heavily lately. These are all my journals over the past 4 years, holding my feelings and place of safety and where I slowly learned and befriended myself. I’m a dark place in my life I found peace and light here. I’ve now reached a new place in my journey, requiring more space for more love and growth and I thought it best fit to burn them all. Symbolizing death and rebirth. I allowed my past self to be heard and honored her as I placed them in the fire. I used to think I needed them as proof of this part of me, but what I learned and needed from this chapter is really inside me. And has made me who I am today. It’s not just in the paper. It’s in my heart now.

So here’s to making room for more love, depth, space and openness. I am ready to refill the holes baggage that wasn’t mine to carry had made. I am ready to refill them, by choice.

our summer has come to a halt fast

another forced slow down

I feel some slight grief for some of the things to be missed .. soccer games, ease of leaving the house and both of us, possibly vacation, NYC trip this weekend, even just the night. I don’t necessarily feel right leaving. mama bear wants to stay here the whole way.

life will be very slow and intentional for the next few weeks. that’s ok.
