Follower of the Black God

I would like to start off by saying that lot of my practices and lore for the Black God are self made/made up, this is mainly cause while there is a little info to go off of in the original texts it's ultimately not a lot (and also at the time of original writing this I have not read the books in over a year and currently don't have access to the books!)

more about me and my journey, my active following of the Black God is more recent, but I have been interested in doing so since I was around 9 years old

I was raised atheist so religion was not a huge thing I thought about most of my childhood, I knew that my mom is very spiritualistic and in my teens found out that my aunt was a pagan (she never hid I just didn't notice), I would now consider myself omnist in that I believe all faiths/religions have plausible grounds but I only actively believe in a deity if I have my own "proof" of them (which for myself include things like being consistently drawn to them or feeling a connection)

this blog will primarily be focused on the Black God, but He is not the only one I believe in even if I am not currently actively worshipping other deities

I am deitykin myself over a specific domain since my godhood is polytheistic in nature even if I am not close with any other gods to be part of a pantheon, I also am devoted to Prime due to being fictionkin (won't specific, but if you know you know lol), the only "real" god I follow is Hypnos but my connection to him is not as strong as the others

I have a goal to read the religious texts for most of the main religions of this world, currently I only have a Jewish Bible (which I have not started reading yet) since it was a gift from my Jewish grandfather

also I am an aspiring witch, in that I have began researching but have not began practicing at all yet

if you've read this far you know a lot of the basics about me now (yay!) so feel free to ask any questions about anything! most of my knowledge about any preexisting things (religions, witchcraft) is limited so I don't have a lot to say currently, but I am more than open to share things about my faith for Black God and Prime, or talk about my own godhood and my domain (which I didn't mention before but my domain is sleep which is part of way I feel connected to Hypnos, I have a form of respectful kinship with him)
