What do you do when you pretend to be someone you're not, not eating for days hoping the fat will drop, do you not understand that you're how you should be, don't worry about what the others see

What do you do when you pretend to be someone you're not, popping pills and drinking straight, do you not see yourself on that silver plate, a statistic, a number, a victim of this trap, cause they were the ones who called you fat, who called you dumb, or ugly or gay or fucking worthless, they were the ones who made this world feel like a prison, not a paradise.

Today, I pretended to be someone I'm not, I walked down the street with a cigarette in hand, walked to work with jeans stuck to my skin, so tight I might have to cut them off, all just to feel like I'm skinny enough. I write this now, ashamed of myself, don't ever pretend, you're not someone else. You are a gift, you are worth more, I promise you this, you're beautiful right to your core.
