Namekian semi OC short summary (still have to develop it)

Name: Mook

Age: young adult. Just out of his “teens”.

He’s, with Barras (see in the tags) one of the two unseen Dragon clan Namekians of Muuri’s village. He was working in the fields with Barras and the 3 warriors when Frieza was attacking their village. They came back to the village, wondering why the 3 warriors haven’t come back. He and Barras were killed by Zarbon after being tortured to disclose the locations of the remaining Dragon balls.

He died of internal bleeding because of the tortures and a final punch in the stomach when Frieza lost patience with their stubborn silence and ordered them to be killed.

He was, like many namekians, very much into gardening while on earth.

Personality:

Meek, but not a doormat either. Don’t be fooled by his fragile appearance, he has good comebacks if provoked. He’s the kind to observe things from afar and laugh or frown at them. He’s very soft and delicate in his mannerisms, almost feminine (but not effeminate in the stereotypical way), a bit like Zarbon but with a more boyish side. He is soft spoken and considered to be a soothing presence.

His delicate appearance and mannerism have a significant impact on the Warriors who feel quite protective of him. In terms of persona, he’s the most “dragon clan” of all dragon-clans namekians. Warriors are biologically designed to be protective so… one could say they have some sort of crush on him.

((Piccolo then choked on his drink and had a coughing fit.))

Nail admires Goku very much because of his fight against Frieza and because despite his quirks, Goku is a really nice dude and fun to be around and great to train with. It’s also part of why Piccolo stays at the Son’s house (beside Gohan and training in general), the Nail part of him really likes Goku’s company. I would even say he’s sort of a fanboy.

And despite his extremely serious demeanor while the Namek saga (he also has a resting bitch face, which doesn’t help while serious situations), Nail is actually quite laid-back, sensitive, very caring, he smiles a lot, loves to have fun (he loved having discussions and joking around with Guru) and great with children because he helped with the hatching of many Namekian babies and taking care of them until they were taken to a village. And every time he felt sad to see the kids go away. Especially Dende, he was his closest brothers. Every Namekian has a brother they’re especially close of. (no, not in a NSFW way)

Something i was wondering about namekians and the Frieza arc…

We know that despite DBZ is one very good anime, it’s filled with plot-holes… They are legions.

One of them is:

Namekians are telepathic, we all know this, then… when Frieza started attacking the 4 first villages before going to Muuri’s, why they didn’t seem to know what was happening and try to escape and hide the Dragon balls? And they can feel kis? Am I right? So why they didn’t feel their brothers being slain? Look at Tsuno’s village, they were all happy and going on with their life, totally oblivious of what was happening until Vegeta attacked them.

The answer may come from one of the three warriors.

The purple clad said that the rumor of someone attacking he villages for the Dragon balls was finally true.

I have a theory about this. You know, sometimes, when you’re scared, you don’t know how to act despite you know you may do something. A bit like Krillin not using his cutting disk attack sooner since it could have killed frieza if the timing was right and if the tyran hadn’t see it. I imagine that the namekians were so surprised and scared that they “forgot” about asking for help etc, they were petrified by fear… but… The caped one said his bad presentment was confirmed. So he may have actually felt something was wrong but he lacked practice in detecting kis? Or maybe he has some sort of premonition sense?

I imagine this:

Warriors are in their village and get a telepathic message from one villager who had the idea of contacting them:

-*Help! Someone is attacking the village to get the Dragon balls!*

-*What are you talking about?*

The sender gets killed and so no answer.

He prefers not to pay much attention to it because only one person warned him, but he feels uneasy, his pal has a very bad feeling but they keep on their everyday business. No answer? Maybe some bullshit… Someone having fun with bad taste joke… maybe….

They decide to go work in fields while Frieza and his henchmen are heading to their village.

But the caped one, after a while has a bad feeling… and they decide to come back. Or maybe Muuri sent them a telepathic message asking them to come back, which explain why they came back as 3 (what about the 2 Dragon clan working in the fields? Since Muuri’s village had 10 inhabitants, we only saw 8 of them. This is one another headcanon of mine I’ll tell below)

What about Nail and Guru/Saichourou? Well… we know how physically and mentally distressing it was for King Piccolo to feel the death of his children. And he was a psychopath. Psychopath don’t really love anybody… So imagine Guru who loved his children dearly, imagine how DISTRESSED he must have been when feeling his children being killed repeatedly, especially in his old age. And we’ve got the proof that the extreme stress killed him since he was not directly killed by frieza but died sooner than expected because of that stress since the Dragon balls brought him back to life. So he was in such a bad state that he was rendered unable to do something like contacting his other children and was just suffering in a HORRIBLE way… and Nail couldn’t leave his side and did his best to comfort him… 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

And as soon as it gets somehow quieter, the time he may take to have his spirits back and act… another village is attacked, and once again he has to feel the pain of sensing his children dying… and once again, and once again, till Dende and Nail are the sole survivors…

Dende couldn’t even feel it when Tsuno’s village was attacked… That’s Gohan and Krillin who told him what was happening…

So we may assume that the 3 warriors were not ki-sensing trained enough to feel how powerful Dodoria was and thus lead them to underestimate him, which caused their brutal demise…

For the 2 Dragon clan mentioned earlier, I think the 3 warriors told them to stay safe in the fields while they return to the village because there’s an attack. After a while, worried that their 3 brothers aren’t coming back, they decide to return to the village some time after Gohan and Krillin escaped with Dodoria, and they got killed by Zarbon after Frieza tried to force them to reveal the location of the other two Dragon balls.

I think namekians were such a peaceful race living in such a peace that they grossly neglected their fighting and ki sensing training. Warriors were training because it was their role but they didn’t think further of it.

A bit like some countries that are perpetually under the menace of a war because of current or past conflicts etc and so having one powerful army vs small harmless peaceful countries with a “simple” army and weaker weapons… The horrible events made them realize that they were living in a potential perpetual danger and so they started to get serious. And we also know that Muuri decided to power up the Dragon balls so they could resurrect multiple people with just one wish because of Frieza.

Wow…. that was long!

I love their relationship so much they both went through so much with Frieza and were very young so they are bonded for life about that. I bet they developed a very protective relationship with each other.
