Multiple studies report that Medication Non-compliance costs hundreds of billions of dollars and is attributed to over 100,000 deaths annually. Counterfeit medications cost the industry billions and are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths annually. InteMed offers solutions to both of these issues by integrating medication delivery with your Smartphone. Smart Cart vaporizers and Smart Pill Carts can include memory that is encrypted with identification data at the drug company. The medication would be sealed in the Smart Cart and shipped to pharmacies. Then a specific prescription would be added to the Smart Carts memory. Once the user snaps the Smart Cart into the InteVape-SC or Intemed case, an APP on the integrated Smartphone verifies its contents and loads the prescription to schedule notifications to alert the user when it’s time to take their meds. The APP can generate reports that can be sent via the internet to the Drug Company, doctor and/or pharmacy as needed. So the medications are tracked from the manufacturer all the way to the end user to insure the user is not receiving counterfeit drugs. And the user will not forget to take their medication, because no one forgets their Smartphone. Finally real time data can be generated for analytical use.
