“Always pray that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make your spouse a blessing not a trial.”

Imām Ibn ʿUthaymeen Raḥimahullāh said:

“Not everyone will appreciate what you do for them. You have to figure out who’s worth your kindness and who’s just taking advantage of you.”

Just pray to be married to someone that respects you, your feelings, your dislikes, your insecurities and discomfort, and your goals.

“Qadr: realizing how weak, forgetful, helpless and dependent you are and how Mighty Allah is. Trusting Allah more than yourself. Surrendering yourself to Him. And having full conviction and trust in His Plan.”

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

“You will be tested time and time again. Submit to Him, ride it out, and be patient.”

“It’s NEVER too late to be a better Muslim.”

“Oh Allah, let my death only reach me when you have forgiven my sins and you are pleased with me.”

“When you’re stressed, anxious, angry or disheartened… Remember nothing happens unless Allah allows it. So change what you can and accept what you can’t. And always, always, always find the good, the blessing in every situation. Just turn a blind eye towards what you hate. Tell yourself Allah is Infinitely Wise and He knows and you do not know. And then focus so much on the good until it is literally all you can see.”
