These past couple of months have been full of happy times, sad times (losing a friend really does a number on you), with a sprinkling of some insanity, mayhem, laughter, good food, some much needed family time, pretty much all of it all at once... It took a lot out of me and it is why I haven't been motivated to create anything until now. I am slowly coming out of this fog and am grateful for it. Here is my (very delayed) submission of my May mini-assignment for my #matsbootcamp . Yes, I know we are already in June. 😶 We were given a photo of random items we had to make sense of and create a cohesive piece with those items. This is what made sense to me. This week has been a very long and to be honest i didn't think I would be able to finish this month's assignment. I lost a very good friend this week... suddenly. His passing threw me off my creative path for a bit. But I know he wouldn't have wanted me to veer too far from fulfilling my life's dream. I hope I honor him with what I have been able to create. I was just able to finish this month's mini assignment in the nick of time. For some reason this one stumped me. Maybe being sick this week didn't help either. This week i was supposed to do 3 versions of the same sketch using different mediums for each. (Needless to say, I only did one) The theme was to create a piece with antique sewing tools.
