Feed Your Head!

“Well you can’t always get what you want” he teased.

“Well I should always get what I want” Dormouse said sticking her nose up in the air, but giggling all the same. “Because I’m a princess so there” 

Pain nodded gently, “Yeah….I was. But its probably good I don’t think about it.” she said thoughtfully before shrugging and getting to her feet, “Exploring sounds fun.”

“I am sorry to rip you from your thoughts” Dormouse said regretfully. She knew how much she hated being yanked out of thinking and felt bad for doing it to Pain, even if she did say it was good.  “Oh lovely! I didn’t know if you would say yes or not!” 

Pain relaxed when she realized it was only Dormouse, “You scared the shit outta me, Mousey.” she forced a small chuckle, trying to reassure her friend that she wasn’t upset at her or anything.

Dormouse smiled and looked down at her feet. “I don’t usually scare people” She giggled and then looked back up at Pain. “Where you in deep thought? I only meant to ask if you wanted to explore with me” 

“Oh I will. Call me his fairy fuckin’ godmother.”

“Oh, um, alright”

Reuben chuckled at Dormouses reaction, adorable as ever.  

“Could you make strawberries delicious?” Dormouse asked. If there was one fruit she did not like, it was strawberries. She wasn’t sure if that was because she actually didn’t like them or if her dislike came because of the Queen of Hearts and her strawberry tarts. “Magic doesn’t always work the way you want it to” 

“No” Reuben responded almost immediately in a dull voice and gave her a flat look he hoped she’d notice as joking.

“Oh” Dormouse said with a little giggle. “Well sorry for always wanting everything to taste better” 

“Oh, nothing. Just give him some sound advice. Don’t you worry your head over it.”

“Well if you do find him, you should tell him to be a lot nicer to other people and to think about how his actions effect other people, especially negatively” 

Dormouse squealed and took a step away from Pain. “i’m sorry I won’t do it again” She looked down, a little confused at Pain’s reaction but understanding it probably wasn’t completely her fault.  

“When I get my hands on him you won’t have to see him again,” he muttered under his breath. “Thanks anyway, I guess.”

Dormouse looks around and her eyes grow wide. “What are you going to do to him?” She asked, her voice barley above a whisper. 

Tea! I love tea! Let’s go get some tea!

"Well that is a crime against nature as you should be treated like the queen. Feared and respected to the extent that people either like you or are too nervous to be rude for fear that they might be stabbed in the eye." He chuckled lightly at himself and leaned over holding a finger under her chin and kissing her check. 

Dormouse blushed a little at Reu’s comment about her being a Queen. Her face simply turned redder when Reu kissed her cheek. She thought about making a comment about how she would not like if people were to be stabbed in the eye. That would make her too much like The Queen of Hearts. But when she opened her mouth to say something, only giggles came out so she decided to not say anything. 

Seeing Dormouse’s response raised a bit of Reu’s only excitement and he grinned back at her, “I know! I’ll have to take you if we go and I can find a cafe with it..” 

“Oh I would love that!” Dormouse giggled and brought her hands together and spun in a little circle. “Drinkable chocolate, I love chocolate, do you think they can make drinkable raspberry chocolate?” 

Yep, that guy. Know where he is?

I don’t and I don’t intend on seeing him again 

So...

You mean the mean man with the cruel dogs? 

March felt Dor’s reaction to his cold statement. He certainly didn’t want to upset his friend but he was just to angry. Angry at Zira and Leroy for beating up him and most of all he was angry at Scar for putting everybody through this damn ordeal. His was pulled back from his thoughts by Dor’s comforting touch. He sighed and looked at Dor “Yeah it’s over, doesn’t mean what they did was okay though…. I mean look at my beautiful face?” The last part of that statement was for the first time filled with a smile.

Dormouse giggled at his comment. “Physical wounds will heal” She told him. “And it doesn’t look like anything that won’t be fixed” Dormouse gave him a grin, happy that the mood had taken a slightly more pleasant turn. Dormouse was a big believer in trying to keep a bit positive during difficult or stressful times. 

"No, they aren’t nice." March said in a flat, cold tone. March picked up his head so the blood from his nose wouldn’t get on his pants anymore and could start draining. His eyes then fell to Dor, who had a look of sadness in her face which panged him. He certainly didn’t want his friend feeling bad for him. Everybody went through interrogation, their physical outcome however varied greatly.

Dormouse wasn't sure what to do with March's suddenly cold tone accept, tighten her grip around his arm to let him know she was still there. "At least it's over now right?" She offered. "Would a cup of tea help? We could make some tea" Tea always made things better.
