I need to wrap myself up until the dark passes. I can’t think of anything else right now.
There can be nowhere to go, because you’re everywhere.
Sometimes there is no darker place than our own thoughts; the moonless midnight of the mind.
Dean Koontz, Fear Nothing. (via wordsnquotes)
PC/PS4 - EVERYTHING Matters
“OMG, this game is amazingly hilarious! I can’t believe this…!”, is what I literally said out loud during my first hour into the masterpiece, EVERYTHING. I said this as I went from being a tree, then minimized into a tiny atom, and then minimized into a tiny galaxy, and further minimized into another Earth. That’s right, in this game everything literally is everything.
I haven’t enjoyed a game this much since Horizon Zero Dawn (coming in a later post, oddly enough). EVERYTHING is a game about how “everything” connects; from trees, to frogs, to cars, to buildings, to planets, to stars. I started out as a single moose, then evolved or rather, devolved into a atom particle within 5 minutes of playing. This is honestly the best $15 I have ever spent!
Graphics: The style is simple and beautiful, bright and subtle, with character all it’s own. There’s no fine HD texturing, and the game honestly doesn’t need it. For me to say such a thing is damn near blasphemy (as I’m a graphic junkie), but the content and “nature” of the game transcends the graphics. It is truly a gem. Also note, I played this game on PC, so the frame rate was obviously phenomenal.
Content: EVERYTHING is a philosophical masterpiece. If you view the video above, you’ll understand why, but seriously the trailer only shows you the tip of the iceberg (I’m really enjoying the cliche puns today ^.^). It reminds me of SPORE, but it’s focused on the universe existing as a whole, peacefully as one. When you say you’re human, what makes you superior or inferior to an amoeba? Is there anything such as the concept of superior or inferior in such a complex universe? What is the purpose of purpose? What is a thought? These are the kinds of questions, philosophical ideas, that the game expertly tackles.
Summary: I know this was a short review, but it’s 2:35AM in the morning, and I have a curfew! That being said, you should pick up a copy if you enjoy the following:
+Open Worlds, Atmosphere, Depth, Originality, Calming Music, No Rules, and Philosophy

Is it possible to die of confusion?
All existing things are a result of either chance or providence, and there’s no way to punish chance or put a stop to providence.
What are you afraid of losing when you die? Yes; everything that you have acquired as an individual and stored in your brain is dissolved and distributed. But at the same time it is equally obvious that when you die, there won’t be following the moment of death. Everlasting nothingness.

The person who wants fame after death doesn't seem to realize that everyone who might praise them will also die, and each generation after, until eventually all are forgotten forever.
Hi Tumblr friends. I spent the last 3 years making a video game and it’s called Everything - it comes out on PS4 on Tuesday. I worked really hard on it. The film above will show you what it is.
You can pre-order it today (link) PS+ members get 20% off. I will release it on Steam next month on April 21st. Will post the link when I have it. Thanks & hope you enjoy.
This is life, and in it you must take your stand, in good temper and without disdain, always aware that a person’s worth is no greater than their ambition.
everything you say?
