Okay but a fic with like an m/c with an abusive older brother who also happens to be the king of their nation, who lets her be the punching bag of the royal court and arranges a marriage for her with a rival nation for a political alliance, a people known for their low morals and bloodthirstyness- a move that shocks even the royal court- that the king would auction off his own family to such a monsterous fate.
Maybe we could make this a dragon au or something so it’s like- dragon king Yoongi (cuz you know how much i’m a whore for that) who teaches her that she’s deserving of self respect and help her rise into her power. i’m just picturing her elder brother going to back hand her after she talks back and Yoongi catching his wrist saying “thats not going to happen anymore, or ever again for that matter” and they’ve barely said two words too each other, they’re not in love- not yet, but maybe that starts to chip away at her resolve.
idk why i get the idea of them getting into it and she makes a comment that’s very disrespectful but also objectively funny and he just laughs at her when she’s expecting him to hurt her and he realizes the weight of the moment and cups her cheeks and say’s “I will never hurt you if I can help it, I promise you, these hands are not agents of pain- not to you at least.”
because as irksome as humans are- she’s his vulnerability now- his one soft spot that he’s never been happier to have- the dragon king with a heart that was supposed to be as dark as his scales turned soft for a human that needs his help. whose plucky and strong when she’s allowed to be. yoongi will help her bloom if it’s the last thing he ever does.
Other cute moments: Her sticking up to one of the nobles and him jokingly tapping her lips with his fingers going “you’ve got any fangs that i didn’t know about in there sweetheart?” eyes blooming with pride.
or the first time he takes her flying is the first time he sees her smile or that the first time they meet she says to him “i guess i’m your problem now” and he looks her up and down “you’re a little problem then.” and then on their wedding day he looks at her and parrots the same word back- “i guess i’m your problem now sweetheart.”
And maybe her brother tries to have her killed after their marriage- because maybe killing a dragons mate is an easy way to kill them- which is why he even offered her up to yoongi in the first place. i’m just picturing her captured and her brother saying “you might be useless- but at least you where beautiful enough to tame the dragon kings heart.” yeah. Yoongi would absolutely tear him limb from limb for that and she’d let him.
I would read the shit out of that 10/10 invested
