as you may or may not know, i've always been pretty strict about not letting people use my art. not going to go into the details as to why but in the last 10-ish years i've always maintained that i didn't want people to use or repost my art. i never tracked down the people who did anyway bc it's rarely worth it but i still put it out there loud and very very very clear that i wasn't a fan of it.

in the last couple of weeks i've thought about it a lot and resolved that it wasn't actually that big a deal and it didn't matter. to be clear i'm aware that i never really had control on what people did with my art anyway even when i had "don't use my art" in big and bold in my about (trust me if anybody knows it it's me LMFAO) but at the time it was very important to me that people at least knew i wasn't into it. well that's changed. i just don't think it's that important anymore. i think people getting to enjoy my art in whichever way they please is the most important thing. except feeding it into AI please don't do that (i know, i know, it's definitely too late for that too, but i'm still not up for it and this is not changing; any gen AI or LLM-related use of my art is still done without my permission or consent)

i've updated my policy page accordingly but basically all that it means is that if you want to use my art as your icon or your header or whatever that's chill with me now. except on twitter and pinterest bc fuck those websites in particular. yes once again i know what i say doesn't rly matter i just want to make it extra duper super clear i hate twitter and pinterest. you can also repost it on idfk, boorus or image boards or forums or non-english social media i'm not on if you want. my only wish now is to be credited for it so people know who made it and where to find more. that's it. peace
