He opened up the map, and searched for the location to find cigarettes nearby. Maybe this woman didn't know about Google Maps.

She felt like a lost pup off her leash bumbling around. Ugh, she's gotta lock in.

Jokes on her for thinking the 150 year old half-curse would be more inclined to modern humor.

Monster and curse were both terms used to describe his brothers. And him when he was seen with them. Only other curses had considered them normal.

"Mm. Makes sense, the place that my little brother and I grew up in taught us to hide those parts of ourselves, something about it being better to stay out of sight when it was closer to a full moon."

So they didn't know each other from fighting, and she didn't mention his brother... odd. Ah well. It's not all that important if someone recognized him.

She's gonna try and skirt past everything said for now, at least until they get more comfortable around one another. There's no need to freak him out.

She might have said too much to give herself away, there was no way Kristine could tell this guy she knew pretty much everything about him already. Consuming his specific media back home was...gonna make this a little precarious.

"I think I would have remembered you too! But then again, most fights I get into are at bars, but I've never lost one!" Not mentioning ones she's been dragged away from before smashing a man's face in.

"Our stuff is supposed to be at our new home? I haven't... been there yet... but I've been here about 3 days I think?"

He says carefully. Mostly because he didn't really want to go to a new location alone. Maybe he ought to ask Rengoku or Tengen to come with him...

If her stuff was at home then, okay, she's not completely out of place. Where was she staying again...Arch...Archimedes? Something like that.

"Yeah, I think you and I showed up around the same time? Somewhat close, anyway." Kristine sighs and offers that pamphlet back to the younger, pulling her phone out and looking through the apps for any information.

His tail flicked as he decided to approach her.

Kristine jolts with a small bristle of her curls before straightening up as she was greeted by the draconic stranger, nodding her head.

"Uh, yeah. Sorry, about the staring thing. Where I'm from, people usually hide these sort of things-" She gestures towards the horns, "There's no like, laws or anything stupid like that-just courtesy cause of the high population. Don't wanna dip your head and jab someone's eye out."

Ah, she was rambling.

"Ah, you're one of the ones that just came in..."

"Welcome to Spirale, I guess. You're stuck here like the rest of us. You'll see plenty of others weirder than I am around the different Wards. I, at least, look human for the most part."

Her first instinct is to reach over and take the end of her shirt to clean it up, not really having much on her person other than that phone and brochure.

She had read over it plenty of times already, but was in that state of manic denial that she just chose not to believe any of it. However, it seemed that hearing the reality from the mouth of another kinda solidified the thought.

"It's very pretty...none of mine are that important, just some that I had done for fun." She opens her hand and turns it over, showing the rings and lines etched on her fingers, along with simple suns under her second knuckle.

"Huh? No, I don't mind - why are you so tall."

He looks down to check if she's just wearing particularly tall heels before he lets his head tip back again. Huh. Well, this is new.

"Well my dad was real tall, call it genes I guess?"

Even if adopted, her father did indeed break seven feet.

Well, yeah, sure, he can do that.

He activates his technique and creates a small blood edge on the edge of the palm of his hand. Nothing super showy if you knew what he could do, but impressive to most bystanders. If not a little worrying.

"There. That's about all I can do right now to show it off."

Where the hell was she?

This couldn't be real. No way.

"Oh!"

Wait, she needs to say something else! He looks so nervous!

"Yeah dude that was awesome! I-uh-I totally feel much safer walking around here if you can do that."

"I'm not sure I had any say in what my face looked like, but thanks, I guess. The only thing I have control over is the blood mark, but I only just got that ability back..."

No, no fuckin' way.

"That's cool! You should show me some time, maybe, if you want-! Only if you want."

Chiikawa was holding up a little sign that read "Welcome to Faucher Lace". "Wa..." They greeted the woman that entered the shop with a smile, and then held up the sign so she could read it better. That was important after all!

When Cecil wasn't having Chiikawa model adorable outfits, they did this or helped out around the shop in other ways.

Being greeting by such a small creature was...surprising, to say the least.

"Oh my god??"

Kristine is immediately crouching down and hugging her knees to be more on level with the other, unable to help the wobbly smile on her lips from just. Pure cuteness aggression.

"Oh! Her name is Mary, and her hair is made of wool yarn...um...her body is made from a...it's ...it was...cotton...I think...and her clothes too...but...but you know what was really neat, her wings were made of real bird feathers!" Making a new one wouldn't be the same at all, but he liked dolls in general...so it would be OK.

Well, she could probably catch one if she really wanted to, Kristine could still feel the shape of her legs and how the muscles tensed when she thought about running. The weird voices did mention she still had her speed...but what was missing?
