I regret nothing.
I started planning my dream classroom about a year ago. I saved my money, and I worked over time. I created a ton of vision boards and sketches to try to visualize what I wanted. Once, I read that kids learn better in a more beautiful environment, and I genuinely believe that. I became obsessed...
Awesome Math Jokes
We all know that math jokes aren't always the best and are sometimes pretty lame, but there are some really fun ones out there. This is my list of some of my favourite math jokes. But, first I'm going to get side tracked because tumblr put a red line under favourite indicating that it is spelled incorrectly. Well, I can tell they are bad at spelling because even tumblr is underlined now.
I'll probably update this post when I remember or come across more good jokes. Also credits to whoever I stole these from.

Why I Like Maths
Many people don't like maths. They aren't good at it or don't care for it and I understand that. Besides, not everyone needs to be good at maths and it's OK if you aren't because there are lots of ways to be successful without it.
I like maths because I like numbers. They make nice patterns that you can find and behave in predictable ways. I think if humans could only say numbers when they talked we would do OK. This is mostly because you can still give hugs to people to express love and things like that and actions speak louder than words. Do you know that computers and most of our other electronics only communicate using numbers? Not only that, but they only use two numbers: 1 and 0. This language is called binary. Maybe, I will blog about it in the future because it will be off topic to do it here.
What I like most about numbers is that you can manipulate them any way you want. You can even model everyday things with just using numbers and making equations. For example, I could make a flower using just the equation for a circle. And it would be perfectly symmetric with perfect circles, not like if I drew it by hand. Using maths we were even able to send astronauts into space. I like astronauts and my favourite one is Chris Hadfield. He is a professor at my school now and I'm very happy about that.Anyway, I can probably talk a lot more about why I like maths and I was going to but I just realized that the hockey game already started and I'm missing it.
Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.
