This Saturday! Corn Dolly Crafting with ICS - Jan 22 - The corn dolls that ICS creates are used to bring certain hopes and desires into our homes. Would you like prosperity? Success? Protection? You can make your doll with those ideas in mind and bring those attributes into your home for the coming year. Next Imbolg, we will use these dolls as kindling for our sabbat fire, so we can start the season of growth with all the right intentions. Supplies you’ll need: -A couple packages of corn husks that have been soaked overnight in water. One package usually makes one to two dolls. -An old towel, because it will get wet and dirty -Raffia -Various colors and designs of ribbon -Scissors -Twine or cord Consider soaking the husks in different magical oils or herbs to suite your purpose *Protection *Abundance *Success *Etc This event will be held online. Craft nights are a fun family affair. Join the meeting with some drinks and snacks on hand. We ask for a $10 donation or whatever you can afford. Even if you can’t donate, you are still welcome to join. 100% of the donations will be given to a local charity. Goody bags are also available for your $10 donation. May 9, Saturday- Candle magic is the simplest and most effective way to perform spell work. When we meet people who are new to the Craft, we ask what kind of spell work they like to do. Most tell us they don’t do anything because they don’t know how and are afraid of doing it wrong. This night is for those people exactly. We’ll show you how to choose your candle, how to dress it, how to create the magical space where you’ll burn it, how to charge it, the psychology behind your spell, and what to do with it once you’re done. This “basics” class will be filled with 30 years’ worth of Inner Circle Sanctuary’s teachings, so bring plenty of paper.
