Your Happiness (你們的幸福) brings Tse back to basics; to her strong ties with the whole underground, raw indie sound, and from start to end: so pleasantly mesmerising, gah. 

Particularly, in how the entire concept was executed + sold off, saw the entire embedding of theme evident from track one, throughout to eleven. Creatively, Tse took the doomsday prophecies as a starting point and collectively, as an entire cohesive body of work flowed to make MAGIC TO THE SENSES.

Personally, didn't live up to the glory of 2009's SLOWNESS (will be forever timeless), though it came alot closer than anything else in Tse's entire discography. Not too much a keen listener of recent cpop. however, this is definitely a must. Hands down, Tse's most experimental record to date, cpop lives another day. Apparently.

Record highlights: 潔淨皇后 (cleaning queen) / 第二天 (快樂是...) (the second day) / 少女瑪利亞 (maria) / 浮雲 (clouds)

it's very out there right now, and no doubt, popularity is growing rapidly all across europe. i guess right 'bout now, its just about anyone, putting up their own textbanners, in the most common of places.

sorta like turning the '68A' in your back street into a piece of visually aesthetic artwork, just through this simple, (and very effective) all round concept of 'black-on-white'; some subtle, some not really.

Quite frankly, both are quite closely aligned in many ways; I just stay OUT of the CROSSFIRE. overambitious or not? you take yo' pick.

haven't had much time to tumbler-er/ tumblr (ugh.) since Ignatius' regime was toppled just over a week ago, and still getting used to the WHOLE summer environment: it's hot and sticky (but i'm lovin' it.)

everything about SUMMER (which i'm supposed to loathe), has proven wrong; a over-surplusness of delicious FROYO, HOTPOT, CART NOODLES, XIAO LONG BAO, LIU SHA BAO (yes, hands down i'm in the haven of all deliciousness, et. al), and of course, SAI KUNG BOAT CRUISING (which of course, i'm HYPED about...)...and this whole google PLUS thing..(for later).

time to crash... 'cept i'm feeling like some early three o' clock morning Sai Wan yumcha right now. hahah.

seems like i’ve got waaaay too much time up my’sleeeeeves with exams still being a whole week away.

so i’ve signed myself up to tumbler / tumblr, seemingly as a way of self-exploration / procrastination really. yada yada.

basically i like to write stuff. that’s why i’m here i s’pose.

well uhh, it’s a way of expressing self + behavioural intentions; through words, being most powerful form of communication.

woooowaaay. tumblr is fuelling a complexly, twisted portal for both your’s + my subconscious. quite frankly, i’ve always had a soft spot for blogging; the platform i use just doesn’t tend to hang around for too long hah . 

well, i’m just here 'cause i like to do what i do. yessir.

yeah, i sorta needed some form of reassurance. heh.
