Predictable; so incredibly predictable. The faux earl allows his hand to drop to his side, the heels of his boots rocking to and fro momentarily with more than enough enthusiasm to spare. As the other asked why there was shock and amusement to be found in his own idle remarks, Alois forced a laugh to near hysterical levels.
"Because you can't do shit without him, of course!"
Uncaring to filter his language, he tsked lightly under his breath. Truly, the blonde was a hypocrite at its finest given how much he depended on his own butler, yet there was something so hilarious in how Ciel's goals could simply not continue without Sebastian on the board that he had to make a point of it. Their similar pains of the past led him to add a comment of a more serious variety, however, if only just for a second.
"No need to be so dramatic, Ciel. Pain seems to come naturally to us both." And just like that, his facade returns with a grand wave.Ā "But I digress! Without our butlers around, duels are really no fun, so let's settle for something a little less cliche." One finger tapped his cheek before it would snap with a genius realization. "I know! Let's play a game."
