Space!Akira is actually a pretty big advocate for transhumanism, but is aware of the ethical dilemma of less wealthy people not being able to afford modifications to be better than the unmodified human. She would like it to be accessible to everyone assuming it’s safe.

Lastly, Space!Akira has a personal distaste for being mistaken for a non-human alien, stemming from the fact that it just reminds her that she was designed from birth to not be truly “human”

1. Species: Ferrix belongs to a race called the Saturnii, characterized by their height, skin tone ranging from pale blues and grays to dark greens and the odd eggshell white. The Saturnii homeworld is quite cold, and Saturnii themselves have thick fur on their arms, back, chest and legs. They have tough skin, sort of like a flexible carapace that still has a skin-like sense of touch. They possess of nictating membrane that’s silvered, functioning like organic sunglasses to deal with the bright sun and the harsh glare of snow. Kyu’s race is unknown, arguably the only of her kind, evidence points to her forming from scattered organic mass from a vast and terrible star-eating monstrosity. Her oozelike form and intelligence suggests she was created from brain matter from this vast creature. Her gelatinous form shifts color slowly over the course of days, her default form looks fairly humanlike and her eyes glow with star-like pupils.

 3. Have they met any other characters in their travels?From the AvenAU? very likely. Hammer and Them have probably crossed paths as wanderers and deliverers of space-goods. Piper and Kyu have undoubtedly hung out together as weird celestial creatures. Kyu would totes bring Ferr to one of Rox’s performances. Other than that idk who else they’d meet but they travel around a lot and have a tendency to bump into all sorts of people.

9. What is their occupation?

((Ferr relaxes by meditating with her lampad torch, for other beings it cause nausea or causes sensory distortion but Ferr finds it soothing. She listens to music like the above mentioned. When agitated she tends to go on walks around the quieter streets in a given city.

Ferrix actually come from a sci-fi with horror themes starting off, part of her inspiration came from Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley from the Alien franchise: A blue-collar woman trapped in a hostile situation with some sort of hostile alien menace. Ferrix would generally be likely to survive a horror situation unless she’s the mentor character; she’s calm, resourceful, and while commonly suffering from Depression or PSTD symptoms across her AU’s she tends to be pretty good about determine fight or flight situations.

Poysa: Kyu is really enamored with Poysa and honestly would love to just chat with her a while about the wind region. Ferrix’s opinion is pretty neutral, politely respect Poysa position and would rather not bother her. Akira has been pretty insular recently, the Wind Region is not a object of interest for Akira right now and she’s more worried about syndicate affairs than rubbing elbows with a diplomat.

Isri: Ferrix likes Isri but hasn’t talked with him much, while she wouldn’t mind interacting with him more they both seem sort of reserved. Kyurin is interested in Isri’s artistic field and always tries to be involved with Aventurine’s schools and students. Akira has no relevant opinion on Isri, he seems quiet and frail to her, neither are qualities she looks to interact with much.

Motty: Kyurin loves to interact with Motty but probably interacts with Motty’s mom more, probably taking on a more “friend of the family, auntie Kyurin” role. Ferrix is the same way, sharing at least the common bond of fellow Mothfolk, Kyu and Ferr have probably offered to have the two of them over for dinner once or twice by now. Akira’s opinion? “what do you mean he’s not a child? That’s bullshit” is about the long and short of it.

2. Akira’s actually fairly Earth-bound, if she travels it’s usually on high-class commercial spaceflights because she wouldn’t like to use a personal spacecraft for business and a personal spaceflight vehicle is probably not equipped for Faser-than-Light travel without some sort of warp-speed gate or some other commercial thing to accelerate the vehicle to FTL.

6. Akira was artificially grown, the donor genetic materials belonging to people she never met and would have information on. She was raised by surrogate parents who were reasonably nice, if strict. After the mutagen study was /inevitably/ cancelled for the unethical bullshit that it is she was adopted by a board member for a gene-therapy company, given they had experience with genetically modified people. This man, Toro Koizumi, was demanding but encouraging, pushing Akira to push herself. Toro and his wife Midori were generally good parents, certainly a more healthy influence than Aven!Akira’s mobster mother and harsh captitalistic father.

7.  Homeworld-born and Homeworld-raised, assuming Space!Aven’s humans call Earth home Akira likely resides in Japan, specifically the Sapporo on the northern isle of Hokkaido. Her actual home is spacious and sparsely decorated, creating an uncomfortably empty atmosphere that even Akira herself finds unpleasant. The basement is a personal gym with a small pool. The neatness is a direct correlation with what spaces are most used, Akira’s study and gym are often a mess but the living room an bedroom are spick and span, her regular cleaning days not being enough to keep heavily used room for acquiring mess.
