Goodreads reviewer Amy recently posted a playlist for the book "Thomas Jefferson, Rachel & Me" on Spotify, which I'd never heard of. Having looked into it a little (and not really getting it yet exactly but finding I have somehow put my entire very eclectic if not totally weird itunes library on it), I made my own playlist of music or composers/artists specifically mentioned in the book. A fabulous tumblr blog called Fuckyeahthomasjefferson has a certain charm that is hard to explain. Fabulous fantasy women in love with Stephan Dillane (NOT WILLIAM DEVANE FOR GODS SAKE) may be a rather large part of it but they are more in love, I hope, with Thomas Jefferson than with the Brit (or Scot?) who played TJ in HBO's John Adams series. Well, uh, my desire to see a certain book get some of the traction it deserves is not the only reason why I find this site appealing. It's very very smart, for one thing. I wonder how many people see it? And are there any men into it who are not gay? NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
