some of the blogs I used to follow on here haven't posted anything in 7 years. this feels like the apocalypse lol

i was in my lit theory class last week when a girl approached me and said I seem cool. I thought she was going to ask for my phone number but instead said "do you have an Instagram?" unfortunately, I do have an Instagram but I never use the damn thing so I gave her my username and just....never talked to her. I'm gonna sound really old saying this but why can't people just text? why do we have to use Instagram or whatever? you have a phone and (presumably) a phone number and cellular service so.....just....text me??? it can't be that hard, can it?

it's windy out and I got chills up my spine seeing one of my favorite ACNL artists post some new art. they lost their original ACNL cartridge somewhere and now I feel bad for them :( I really loved their art when I was a teenager.
