honestly one of my favorite things about rujinu is that they were both clearly aware of the chemistry between each other and that they liked each other, but they didn't do shit about it. I always get a little annoyed in stories when two people get together in the middle of, like... drawing up battle plans for the war they're in or whatever. Just this expectation that if you have a crush you HAVE to date and you have to do it RIGHT AWAY, no matter the circumstances you're in. Like. Ffs. Having a crush on someone and dating them are two wildly different things. And you gotta honor that. Sometimes you can acknowledge potential without acting on it. Sometimes that's the best thing to do
