Hey!  How’s it going?  Dandy?  Well, ain’t that just the shit!  I too am dandy.  What are the chances of that happening on a day such as today?  Pretty fucking good, I’d say.  It rained & it poured today.  Still is.  Soggy little Thursday in the Valley.  What’s your weather looking like these days?  It sure is getting nippy.  Burr.  I really feel the cold so I had started bundling up about a week or more ago.  I always get those losers who say to me, “Are you cold?”  And I’m totally layered up, wrapped up in an infinity scarf & a warm hat.  And I always say, “No, I’m quite warm.”  It’s like people get pissed at me for knowing I get cold so I dress accordingly.  I start to shake when I get cold.  Ya, the older I’m getting the more I truly feel the cold.  Hmph, hey?  Ya man.

What’s your favorite thing to do?  I love writing.  I haven’t written in a few weeks.  Not really.  I had been finding it rather difficult to hand write these past 7 or so years. Ya, I just can’t.  I’ve had an on-going journal that I have been writing in for at least 2 or 3 years.  It’s not even halfway done.  Which is totally not like me, at all.  Nope.  I used to keep a journal at all times on me.  I remember when I moved to Victoria (back to where I was born) when I was 24.  I had this man’s tan, cord sports jacket that had two big pockets.  I used to pack around a journal & one or two of Jim Morrison’s poetry books, head to Java & drink coffee & smoke with people I met downtown.  And I used to think I was the young poet.  I used to write the shittiest poetry.  It was nasty.  I did win two poetry contests & was published in two different books, which I have subsequently lost over the years.

Listening to my iPod.  You’re Never Over by Eminem is playing.  It’s giving me shivers.  Such an inspiring diddy.  I’m into shuffling my music.  You hear the neatest mix of songs in any given chuck of time.  I love music.  Maybe that’s why I love the boys of Hip Hop.  It’s such a lyrical genre.  Me being a writer & words meaning such a lot to me.  Hey, I never thought of it that way before.  So!!!!  Here’s my new thing.  I recently bought an album of one of the rappers I’m following & I’m going to be buying one of each of the rappers I’m following.  Then if I’m feeling it - buy more.  Here’s my thing with music ... it’s gotta make me feel good.  Or be truly cool.  I like a lot of different sounds, and I’m into hearing what is happening with these guys I’m seeing their posts for.  This will commence in about two weeks.  And I really have only Walmart & London Drugs to buy CDs from - so most likely - iTunes.  I’ve got over 5000 items on iTunes.

I was saying in a video tonight after work that I have been writing online for over 15 years.  Ya.  In 2004 I got the internet in my home & I had been teaching myself to write how I wanted to write so I discovered blogs.  I went a period when I didn’t have the internet except access to it at the library, when I was super poor.  But outside of that year or two, I’ve been pretty steady on it.

Nice.  Headpins!  From the 80′s, a Vancouver band I used to listen to.   So funny.  Well, nobody is coming over ... yay!  I love that.  Social distancing is fun.  Ha.  I’m such a loner that I don’t even care, at all.  Nope.  Not this little chicken noodle. I saw Brandi, when was it?  Yesterday?  I barely even know the day of the week right now... laughing.  I don’t.  I had to truly ponder it.  I could have just come to the computer or my phone - but no.  Fuck no!  That would spoil my brain-strain.  Yes, but if I would have thought about it ... maybe I might have chosen no strain on zee brain & ... fuck it.  I’m not continuing with this lame train of thought.

Back to Brandi - saw her outside on my way back from the garbage can/recycling area we have.  We kept our distance.  Then she dropped that can off at my door & I could hear it clunk.  I yelled out “Drop it & run!”  She laughed.  She’s an old hippie & knows shit!!!  Oh man, I could tell you stories.  Will do, will do.  Soon grasshopper!

Onto another paragraph.  Coffee was yum.  Did you notice all the food I’m showing you is junk food?  haha.  It is.  Cheesecake, cookies, tortilla chips & I’ve got lots, lots more, Baby!!!  WooooOoOoOOOOoo ... I’m fat & I’m okay with it.  Actually, I’m not, but fuck it - while this shit is going on with the world I’m gonna just eat the food I have & I’ve got plenty.  I don’t even know where to start sometimes.  True. 

Well, I’ve acquired a bunch of stuff in the past while.  Good things, too.  When I can dig it out - all the stuff I’ve stashed - I’ll show you - promise.  It’s not that much.  Pretty cool none-the-less.

I like how you roll your words sometimes.  “Neither one of us has nothing to lose.”  Sittin here in my mellow-yellow Reitmans tank & a pair of black shorts.  And it’s rather nice with the window open a tad behind me.  Pretty fuckin nice like.

Fucking dance tunes I’ve been listening to all my life are really & truly bee-boppin my world right now. ! It’s incredible, you know, that I used to do this all damn day long back in the day & now it’s so natural for me to again.  I feel like telling you everything here today, right fucking now.  Ha ha.  But Imma gonna just be super fucking cool about this all for once in my life.

So, you think you want to get to know & perhaps get close to Miss Cecil?  Hmm, do you think you’re sponge-worthy?  Very, you suggest. I see.  I’ll have to be the judge of that.  What the fuck is a “sponge” anyway?  Remember those IUD things?  Aren’t they a coil they pop inside unsuspecting women to combat mighty sperm from finding their Eve?  I heard some nasty shit when down with those.  Huh.  Not to worry for myself anyhow.  I’m celibate.  Ha, fuck, have been for many, many a moon but just hadn’t declared it yet.  Oh man, yes you, I feel so utterly relieved to be outside of all that hate I was just in.  The confusion, the shit, the crap & pain.  You believe in shit like that?  I hope so.

I’m not going to talk to you a lot about that unless you ask me.  Building the new.  Seriously, this ‘building the new’ has just come so easily for me.  I had been trying since I found that quote years & years back with no luck.  Ha.  I was going to put “to no avail”.  (Got this from Google:   a usage dating from the mid-1400s. Also see to little purpose.)  MUSIC CHANGE ... (seems sort of dramatic with the caps.  Oh well) ~ HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE ~

Shops are closing up left, right & center around here.  Subway across the street just “closed for the duration”.  Fuck.  I just got a 6″ cold cuts from there a week ago. Ya, M, I get subway cards ($10) from work when I do really well with our bi-annual fundraiser for homeless youth.  It’s something I feel pretty passionate about so I’m always the top collector of donations.  It’s cool.  I even cried in my interview when I was told they do their “Orange Door” campaign to help out a couple of centers devoted to helping end youth-homelessness.  Last year I got a $50 donation.  Felt pretty proud of it.  Last year May, I believe, I raised $1200.00 in donations in a month - working part-time.  I just know how to do it.  Each donation is $2.  I don’t mention that. I just say to EVERY customer “We’re supporting homeless youth.  Would you like to help?”  Yes or no.  If “yes” - “Great, I’ve got a 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 dollar donation.”  I got maybe ... 60 or more $10 donations the last time we did it.  I’ve got a supervisor who always pumps me up - she’s pretty cool.  And the big manager called me “Our Orange Door Guru”.  Ha.  Gives me joy.
