Disco... the one who never changed besides their own pride growing at seeing Seer be demoted so far down from her previous role higher than theirs.
Disco is, not putting this lightly: egotistical, petty, prideful, however many ways you can say self-centered at this point. They are loud, obnoxious, often belittling those below them if that Inphernal so much as breathes on them wrong.
They are very hypocritical, often telling others to treat them with respect while they don't do the same, like how they don't deserve to be called it/its because, quote: "They are too high of a rank to have such demeaning terms used on themself."
Their ego is easily chipped if someone is liked better than them, they often take that as a reason to kidnap said Inphernal and torture them like Blackrock's chill wasn't enough of a torture without a proper coat.
They are sadistic, to say the least, though they and Subspace often get along well due to this as Hyperlaser usually stops their experiments or doesn't bother to help at all, it pisses Disco off.
- Firecracker was at KORBLOX only a couple months before Medkit escaped (they never crossed paths in the labs, but she knew of him and his escape which was one thing that encouraged her to get out)
- Firecracker probably bit several scientists out of self defense
- Firecracker uses any explosives she can
- With Subspace’s rot and the amount of strength Firecracker regained after escaping, she could most definitely beat him in a fight
- If Firecracker were to ever see Crossbow again, she will kill them on the spot
- ^Crossbow would do the same but only because they are required to
- Striker sometimes goes on missions with Hyperlaser
- Striker doesn’t truly care about anyone but himself and Crossbow (but he’d never admit it)
- neither Striker or Crossbow speak very much (they would take silent smoke breaks together)
- Crossbow looks up to Subspace but doesn’t fully agree with his unethical experiments
- Striker is 6’5” at around 35 years old (🤨🤨)
i know ive never mentioned Striker before so his full name/gear is Blizzard Striker and hes kind of just a mercenary or blackrock soldier or whatever
Interesting...
Truthfully I think legit ANYONE could beat Subspace in a fight lmao
^ Like, the phighters, not npcs
Naturally spawned in Playground, Disco was a newspawn when they left Playground, on accident but they left and had wandered into Blackrock via a magical doorway they found and were discovered by a Biograft who brought them to KORBLOX for examination as they were... interesting, a Playgrounder? In Blackrock? Rare.
Disco has no recollection of Playground as they were raised in Blackrock, though told of their Spawnpoint, they never believed anyone and still won't and will adamantly say that they spawned in Blackrock.
They were made Subspace's assistant when the scientist realized that Disco understood his ramblings of complex scientific and mathematical values and words, he and Disco also got along quite well due to their... shared disdain for those below them.
After a fire of their own causing, their right(->) forearm, left hand, and both legs with varying burns of different severity, their forearm having the worst and had to be wrapped to prevent anything else from happening to it too badly, they are permanently scarred by this but hide it via the bandages, wearing gloves, and wearing pants almost 24/7.
When Medkit was deemed a traitor and Seer demoted to a simple researcher, Disco was given a personal Biograft and Chigraft by Subspace for their spawnday even if the rotting head scientist didn't care too much, the Biograft was named "Rave" with the Chigraft being called "Neon" to match Disco better. Along with these two, Subspace gave them an artificial gear that gave them their secondary name, Glitter Bomb.
This artificial gear in question is the explosive glitter inside their "disco bombs," they had designed the casings themself to better fit their vibe and also made some glittery smoke bombs to mix with them for more... harmless get-aways.
Disco trades valuable information to Father Overseer for little quests that they need done, one of the more notable ones is when Disco traded some in return for Party.

Seer is... unique, her personality changed rather drastically in most aspects after her and Disco's little incident.
PRE-INCIDENT
Seer, arguably the nicest higherup you'll meet. Quiet, apologetic, and helpful, Seer will try to help any way she can when she isn't too busy! Though, her gear tires her out a little she'll be just fine with some rest. She's also honest, almost too honest.
Most describe her as naive, often following orders without question, though her high rank is due to her gear; she doesn't really care for it and treats everyone as equals. Though, they also say she'd never hurt a fly.
POST-INCIDENT
Seer, demoted down to a researcher due to that little fire, she's turned apathetic, tired 24/7, her partial blindness makes her wary of all due to everything that's happened to her. She'll lie, and she'll lie well if a situation calls for it, she barely has morals for what she'll do now, killing Inphernals if needed.
She's colder by this point, haunted by nightmares that is the cause of her exhaustion that never seems to disappear no matter how much sleep she gets. She's quiet, almost eerily so and she barely apologizes unless it keeps her out of trouble.
The kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small...

Sword was breathing heavily, he had been trying to get out of these ropes for so long he felt his wrists burn and bleed as he hunched over, eyes tearing up as he felt sick to his stomach at the idea that he couldn't get out and that an imposter had taken his place somewhere, it made him so uneasy. It was rare for him to feel that way but it really did, he felt unsafe, he didn't have his helm and it made him so upset.
He was snapped out of his thoughts of misery when he heard wingbeats, trying to call out but then remembering he had cloth in his mouth tied around his head meaning he couldn't scream but he tried anyways, the wingbeats just got farther... and farther without any sign of stopping.
Damnit...
He felt delirious, he hadn't eaten properly in DAYS thanks to Shifter, the heat was unbearable even in a cave, the chill of night was enhanced inside with the slight... moisture that was inside the rocks chilling the wind more so that didn't help either. He just wanted to be free from this damn cave... exhaustion certainly wasn't a helping factor either and his wrists were raw from rubbing against the ropes... horrible.

Chuck had called a meeting, rare for him but the others digress as they sat down in their seats far away from Sword who was helping out with supplies. Beehive and Chuck had been in their seats first, silent as they shared a glance while the other four entered the tent.
"So, why'd ya wanna call this, Chuck?" Grappling Hook asked, tilting his head just slightly with a smile that hid his genuine confusion as to why they even needed a meeting as he sat down with a small hum.
"Yeah... I mean, nothings wrong, right?" Tarantula asked, sitting down and turning her head to look at Beehive and Chuck who both sighed at the four and their obvious... confusion.
"That ain't Sword." Beehive stated like a fact rather than an accusation, it made Grappling Hook's eyes widen, Chipper gave a glance at Tarantula who had a surprised look despite her closed eyes. "How do ya know that?" TNT asked, his voice surprisingly soft considering how loud and explosive(no pun intended) he was.
Beehive let out a breath and nudged Chuck with her arm so he could speak, say what he noticed since he noticed a lot more about Sword than the others.
"He... He talks different, his posture ain't the same, his horns are slightly jagged, and his eyes ain't even the right shade." Chuck pointed out, looking to the side as if embarrassed by the fact he noticed all of that, so Beehive spoke up after. "He seemed like he didn't remember savin' Chuck from that mine, don't ya remember how nervous he sounded?"
Caltrop nodded before anyone else could answer, a small hum came from Tarantula as she recalled and Grappling Hook suddenly found the sandy floor very interesting to look at instead of the conversation. "I noticed, didn't think much of it though." Caltrop spoke up finally, having been silent for basically this whole time.
"Well where would the real one be if this ones a fake?" Tarantula inquired, voice soft as ever though soaked with concern as she looked between Beehive and Chuck who both shrugged though Chuck spoke first.
"No idea.. But we can get lookin' right?"
Grappling Hook merely nodded. "I'll get the fake, they can lead us to the real one."
-
Sword had- no, not Sword.
Shifter had passed out against a rock, helm falling just slightly over their eyes as their horns shifted to a slightly darker shade of red. That's how Grappling Hook found them as he summoned his gear to assist him in tying up the fake Sword in the camp.
Shifter startled awake when they felt the lack of helm and cape as well as the ropes around their arms, they stiffened at seeing Grappling Hook and Beehive standing above them before letting out a nervous laugh.
"Hey... guys..? Why am I tied up-"
"Don't play dumb, ya ain't Sword." Beehive cut them off quickly, looking at their horns with narrowed eyes before she spoke again, leaning down just slightly to look at them better. "Yer gonna show us to where actual Sword is."
Tarantula walked over with a nod, followed by her Oziphrage rather closely as it snapped its beak at the fake Sword, the vultures had felt something off and now this? This just confirmed it with the very obvious differences to "Sword".
Shifter huffed, their form melting away into their actual one with gray horn stubs and black eyes, they had been caught and they weren't stupid, they wouldn't keep a failing act up unless it got them something.
They didn't get to have a say before they were picked up and unceremoniously dropped onto the back of Grappling Hook's Oziphrage as he got up as well, Tarantula was on hers next and then so was Beehive. Chuck was already in the air with Caltrop and TNT and patrolling quietly.
Shifter made themself comfortable before looking around and shaking their head. "Why exactly would I help you?" Shifter asked in a rather rude tone, narrowing their eyes.
"Then the Oziphrages are gettin' a snack of Inphernal." Beehive threatened, not explaining before her Oziphrage took off, Grappling Hook and Tarantula following to meet up with the others as Shifter's eyes widened at the threat, making them grumble but comply nonetheless, it was better than being turned into vulture food...
So, Shifter began with their directions to lead the six to Sword, reluctant on their part but whatever, they'd rather not become a vulture snack today, the helm and cape were held by Tarantula in a bag that her Oziphrage wore so those were safe at least.
-
The sound of beating wings barely registered to the dazed mind of Sword, it was dusk now, when had that happened? He didn't know, he could barely focus on the outside world as his stomach growled and he curled up on himself, he was so dehydrated too...
"..ord?"
That faint voice, Sword couldn't make it out, but... it sounded vaguely... familiar? He tried to remember but he couldn't as he let out a muffled, "I'm here!" That was barely heard.
"...word?!"
"SWORD!" Chuck shouted in a panic, followed by Caltrop who tried to stop him from rushing in but was too late, not that it mattered, Chuck began untying Sword rather frantically as he mumbled gibberish to himself.
"Chuck!" Tarantula called out worriedly, stepping into the cave before her expression shifted to shock at seeing Sword in this... condition, she let out a quiet gasp at the almost horrific sight in front of her as Chuck removed Sword's gag and pulled him into his arms when the latter fell forward from his general daze.
Chuck didn't speak, only stood up, blinking a few times to try and not cry as he picked Sword up(bridal carry...) and carried him out of the cave to his Oziphrage, the sight made Grappling Hook glare at Shifter before he promptly dropped them onto the sand.
"You aren't gonna untie me?!" Shifter shouted, making Sword flinch a little but Chuck helped calm him down from that slightly startled state, Grappling Hook? He gave no response before his Oziphrage took flight, the others followed shortly after, one less passenger on Grappling Hook's and one dazed passenger on Chuck's.
Wingbeats, that's all that filled the silence as the six flew away from Shifter and the cave, the former of which struggling inside the ropes that were quite tight around their body.
-
Chuck landed first, getting off his vulture quickly before he helped Sword down, holding him gently as he began walking to the medical tent to let Sword's scratches be tended to and disinfected, the medic would probably help out and give him something to drink too... hopefully, even if not, Chuck could get Sword something to eat and drink.
Not like the Wrangler really moved from Sword's side once inside the medical tent, watching him with a worried expression, even when Tarantula gave Chuck himself a concerned look, though Grappling Hook didn't call him for duties.
It took... hours for Sword to wake up, he had passed out when in the air on the way back, though now? His wrists and arms were bandaged securely and disinfected by the medic. Chuck had fallen asleep beside the cot where Sword was while waiting, it was night after all and Chuck wasn't immune to the pull of sleep.
It was around... 4AM the next morning when Sword woke up, a groan coming from his dry throat that made Chuck jolt awake, though he had to stay quiet for the others since they were still asleep, even so, he pulled out the waterskin he kept and handed it to Sword, patiently waiting.
"Ya feelin' better, songbird?" Chuck asked in a whisper, setting a hand on Sword's back to help him sit up so he could actually drink from the waterskin, which the latter took with a thankful glance and began drinking to quell his thirst, he was still hungry but... it was better than nothing.
"Y- Yeah... doing a little better.. my head is still killing me and I'm starving but I'm okay." Sword muttered back, leaning into Chuck a little, making the Wrangler wrap an arm around his shoulders to keep him close.
"Tara will probably make ya somethin' when she gets to cookin' breakfast, alright? I got some jerky if ya want some." Chuck's voice turned a little teasing near the end, knowing damn well Sword didn't like the jerky the Wranglers had on hand after learning it was made from those damn snakes that slither about Lost Temple.
Sword froze for a good moment before... "I think I'm good with waiting.."
That earned a quiet chuckle from Chuck who settled his chin on top of Sword's head, letting the latter lean onto his chest if wanted, which he did almost immediately.
Sword felt... safe, his eyes slowly falling shut as sleep called to him yet again, he could get food later, he was just... so comfortable here, so Chuck decided to let him rest for a while, he didn't have any plans to move anyways.
Seer was naturally spawned in Lost Temple but was taken by Blackrock after The Scorch left her wandering and subsequently running, no destination, just away. She eventually ended up in Crossroads where she lived for most of her life, she lives there now but because she wants to unlike before.
She was spawned with cataracts, it started small with slightly blurry images but then it escalated into barely being able to see when she was in Blackrock, The Scorch didn't make these any better, severely burning her body which she now hides 24/7 behind clothes and bandages.
The Wizard Orb, her gear, got her a different name from it, Seer, for a reason. Her gear is connected to her eyes, weirdly enough, when summoned she can see better but that’s not what gave her a name, her ability to see possible futures is what gave her that name. She'd made a small living doing this, using her gear to tell people possibilities of their future and it earned her some good bux.
And then... Blackrock heard about it and wanted that power, of course, this was Blackrock after all. They offered her a job within KORBLOX and, while she was debating saying no, the Zeta Biograft beside the one who asked was enough of a threat to make her say yes.
It wasn't... too bad, actually, sure Subspace was egotistical, Medkit was wary like a cornered animal, and Disco was... Disco, but all-in-all Seer's years staying inside KORBLOX weren't too bad.
That is... until the fire that ravaged Disco's laboratory, with both Disco and Seer inside. The former had questioned how their experiment would go, Seer gave an honest answer like normal where it could go well if all variables were accounted for.
This didn't happen, it barely touched Seer but Disco got burned on the forearm and legs badly, singed lightly on their face as well, all of which Medkit had to tend to. Subspace was scolding Disco, Grav was worried but didn't stop him, neither did Warp.
Seer was looking at the ground, she only lost her eye a day later.
Disco was... pissed, not at themself no, their pride wouldn't allow them to say they were wrong, at Seer for giving false hopes that THEY failed. Disco met with Seer in a quiet part of Blackrock, Grav was worried sick when realizing the two had been gone for over an hour.
Grav, Warp, and Medkit, albiet reluctantly on the doctor's side, went to go find Seer especially since Disco was back... but Seer wasn't.
The three found her bleeding in the snow from her eye, or should I say eye socket? Her eye had been ripped out though it was nowhere to be found and there was a harsh scar that surrounded her eye socket. Medkit began healing her as fast as possible, covering her eye to stop the bleeding and using one of the crystals to heal her faster as he had learned of the healing potential they held, and it helped far better than his gear.
She lived, of course, but... it still hurt every now and then.
Seer had helped Medkit run away when he eventually got the same treatment as she did, helping him to Crossroads where they both live in the same apartment, and subsequently got invited to The Church of the TRUE EYE at the same time as Medkit as they were wandering before they found a place to live.

The sun was harsh as usual, beating down on the Redcliff camp in waves despite the early morning chill that still swirled its way through the air, Chuck had fallen asleep on his Oziphrage, not that the giant bird seemed to mind, it just waited until the others were awake while it landed beside Chuck's tent and shielded him from the sun with its feathers.
A soft yawn from Tarantula broke the morning silence of camp as she walked out of her tent, rubbing the sleep from her closed eyes that she never really opened, didn't need to with the smaller pair she had being good enough for her to see.
"Aww, did lil Chuck fall asleep?" The animal wrangler whispered to the Oziphrage, patting the vulture on the head which earned a soft chirr from the creature, though Chuck was still asleep. "I can get 'im to bed if need be?" Those words earned a few snaps of the Oziphrages beak but none that actually hurt Tarantula as she chuckled at the behavior.
"Alright, alright, I'll let 'im wake up himself."
-
A few hours later, around midday, Chuck woke up to TNT laughing at him since his clothes got covered in feathers due to his Oziphrage, making him quickly get up and brush the feathers off of his poncho and general being before another laugh caught his attention.
Sword's laugh.
A sound that made his head turn towards the source, Sword letting out a laugh at his misfortune before apologizing in embarrassment.
Probably Chuck's exhaustion but... did Sword's horns look a little more jagged than usual? The Wrangler shook his head, looking back to see they seemed smooth, the same Sword he always knew... right?
"Say, Sword, why don't ya explain where ya got them scars?" TNT asked, dropping an arm around Sword's shoulders with a grin making the shorter knight yelp softly before beaming at the chance to tell the story, Chuck watched for a few minutes before looking at the ground, Tarantula walking over to Chuck and patting his shoulder.
"Ya tired?" Tarantula inquired, noticing how Chuck was a little less... active, well, he was never active really but he was acting a little off. Chuck cleared his throat before sighing and nodding, not wanting to say much else. "I'm fine, Tara."
"Alright, alright, don't get yer horns in a twist, just worried about ya."
"I know, Tara."
-
Sword, you know, the real one? Yeah, he was exhausted but trying to get out of his bindings still, he was scared, hurt... where was Darkheart? Wasn't he following him? Apparently not close enough if this was a possibility..
Whatever, Sword just had to get out, a lot easier said than done of course, he could barely move his wrists without feeling rope dig into his wrists, Shifter hadn't come back in a while and Sword was tired, thirsty, hungry... so many things but he had to keep trying.
He had his mind set and Sword was Sword, when he set his mind to something? He didn't stop until he completed with his goal.
He wanted... no, he NEEDED to get back to the Redcliff camp, he needed to get back to Chuck..
-
"Hey, Chuck, can we talk in private?" Beehive's voice snapped Chuck out of his thoughts, Sword was off with TNT, Grappling Hook, and Tarantula, to do what? Who knows, probably telling how he got his scars.
Chuck only nodded and followed Beehive to her tent, the gentle buzzing of her bees being the only noise that surrounded the two besides distant laughter as Beehive grabbed one of her little spy bees to fix it. "That kid's been actin' a little... off, don't ya think?" Beehive wasn't one to sugarcoat, she was also like Chuck; she noticed small things about people. "He also looks a little off."
"...I noticed." Chuck replied, leaning against a nearby chair as he and Beehive talked, his eyes were on Sword or at least... what everyone assumed was Sword. "Thought it was my exhaustion."
Beehive nodded along, a soft hum coming from her in genuine thoughtfulness before it disappeared, a frown on her face instead of that small smile she had before when she hummed.
"Well-"
"Hey, Sword, Chuck is doing a lot better after that cave-in, y'know, he woulda died without ya." Tarantula's voice caught both Chuck and Beehive's attention as she spoke to Sword... who seemed to blank out for a moment before replying.
"That's good! I'm glad he's doing better after I got him out." Sword replied with a smile yet not without the smallest hint of nervousness, he... seemed like he didn't know what she was talking about.
Beehive shared a look with Chuck that shared the same sentiment:
