I'm intrigued by this. Explain more?
Remember that the end of Fushigi Yuugi had that scene of older (college age I think?) Miaka finding Taka (Tamahome's reincarnation) saying "I finally found you" implying he had Tamahome's memories of her.
So I think it would be nice to see Jinu also reincarnated later on with his memories of Rumi intact (or maybe an inkling that they know each other or something)

The Tamahome-fication of Jinu.
Things to explore should we get a sequel:
1. Backstory of Rumi's parents
2. What happened to the third Sunlight Sister?
3. Is being a Hunter normally passed down generations? Or is Rumi and her mom a rarity?
4. Gwi-Ma must know who the Rumi's father is since it is implied Rumi is the only one he cannot control. It is either a) himself or b) a demon with humanity just like Jinu. So if Rumi's father was someone he also couldn't control, that would make it easy to pinpoint.
5. I believe Jinu never abandoned his family. These were images Gwi-Ma showed him over and over again. The voices telling lies much like what we saw happen to Mira and Zoey - their shame, regret, insecurities magnified. But we know they weren't true. So Jinu's "shame" must have more to it.
6. Derpy and Sussie were on the human side when the Honmoon was strengthened but it is not golden yet. It's either Jinu asked them to watch over Rumi or they are staying close to Jinu's soul which is with Rumi.
7. Do Hunters only exist in Korea?
8. What happens when the demons realize Rumi is one of them?
Jinshi was out there withdrawing his whole arm just because Maomao grazed his finger with hers and I think that's so babygirl coded of him.
Jinmao nation we are fed very well.

The running gag of Jinshi being so beautiful he could pass for a woman is great and all but that Jinshi in the cave IS A MAN.

Would have watched a whole episode of that. Sad that they cut it.
Hongniang and Gaoshun were like "not this again." And Maomao is her usual oblivious self.
He should have said her name right then and there. I wonder if the animators are saving it for a more special scene.
We started the episode with Jinshi thinking of the caretaker's comment about getting Maomao to be part of the royal family and the Dowager Queen telling him to keep the "things" he likes hidden or someone will take them away.
The whole episode of him wanting to come clean and tell her who he really is as a first step in him wanting to make a relationship with her even a possibility.
And we ended the episode of him literally not letting her out of his arms.

Maomao represents the people who slightly showed competence and everybody around them wants them to do their jobs.
So they are really alluding to the frog scene in every episode huh π I mean the op and ed scenes are understandable but the little additional scenes and dialog?????
