no matter what the situation is at hand, sitting still to her seems like the worst option. thereâs something inside of krys that rebels against it, a compulsion to pull herself up and find an escape route, find a place where she can slip in unnoticed with jisoo in tow, where they can hide away from danger. it just feels so very eerie, feels like the setup to a horror movie she hasnât yet watched and krys doesnât want to play along with the plot line. she wants out, and she wants away from the crowd thatâs cluttering the dining hall. âright? if itâs coming for us, if anything is there, how is being here going to help?â krys agrees in turn, traps her lower lip between her teeth and worries it in thought as she lets her eyes skate across the room.Â
people are shouting, some visibly panicking, some fighting, and it seems like the teachers definitely do not have things under wrap. âright? what can they even do for us? jack.â krys concludes as she gets up and tugs jisoo along with her toward one of the windows, throws a glance over her shoulder on the way over to make sure that there are no teachers waiting to jump in and reprimand them, pull them away from their targeted task. itâs hard to make out anything past the rain tough, a sheet of water so heavy it makes the world outside look like a blur.Â
âwhatâs even supposed to be out there to the point where we shouldnât be looking?â she mutters under her breath, fingers squeezing just a bit tighter around jisooâs wrist. âi canât see anything justâŚwater. and trees.â she concludes, though throws a curious glance to her friends, to see if sheâs managing to fare any better. âyouâd think theyâd be telling us to do something else after the radio thing, though. but theyâre not. itâs like theyâŚknew about it or something.â she rambles, half out of anxiety, though her eyes still dance through the room in hopes of picking out hangyuâs familiar face.
âunless itâs something like my mother then i honestly couldnât give a rats ass.â
because even with many rumors circulating around campus of the paranormal and such jisoo didnât believe a lick of something inhumane being a possible threat. if she made it into a problem then it would be an endless list of possibilities and the last thing she needs on her shoulders is more stress. itâs because of that that she takes to opportunity to stash a fork into her skirt pocket. (an excellent choice of defense considering their location, if she may say so herself.)
she follows krystal close behind, focusing on the area around them and trying to look the least bit suspicious to the eyes of her peers who put their lives in the hands of the faculty. a waste of space she thinks, scoffing in disgust before she feels the other girlâs fingers grip onto her tightly. dark hues turn in the direction of her friend, giving the brunette a reassuring squeeze as they approach a nearby window. âi donât know but listen, krys, if something does happen iâll make sure you wonât get hurt.â honesty drips like honey--it sticks to the reality they were thrown in and shows that genuine care jisoo has towards the other. itâs something that canât be replaced, sheâs something that canât be replaced, and as long as jisoo has some control of her actions then she wonât let any harm come her way.Â
her unoccupied hands comes to cover the back of krystalâs hand, holding onto it tightly, âyou, me, and hangyu, whatever comes iâll make sure it doesnât even look in our direction if itâs out of malice.âÂ
because the last thing she wants or needs is the possibility of losing one of them. her voice is filled with determination and she notices how she looks in the reflection of the tallerâs eyes, taking back her hands she changes the subject with ease back to their objective: the window.
âso iâll take a look and you make sure no one tries to stop me, okay?â
the faculty interrupting everyone to throw out a warning had been weird enough, but with the radio picking up a new voice, a strange voice, it leaves krys in an odd flux of panic and distrust. Â if not for jisoo at her side krys isnât entirely sure what she would have done, but her friendâs presence has always been a reassurance to her at amji and so she finds herself reaching out to grab at jisooâs wrist, pull her attention toward her before jisoo has a chance to succumb entirely to the unease thatâs beginning to bubble around them.Â
she can see it in jisooâs eyes, the same skepticism thatâs managed to find a home in krysâ mind. she finds herself searching around briefly for hangyu â it isnât often that theyâre all separated â but heâs nowhere in her immediate vicinity and so krys makes a mental note to search him out later, after her and jisoo hopefully have a plan of action. âitâs too fucking weird, right? an order followed byâŚthat? like itâs premeditated.â and maybe krys has been marathoning too many horror movies late at night, but it all strikes her as too odd to be a coincidence. too calm of an order, too idle of an order.Â
the whole thing makes her skin crawl, and she knows sheâll feel better outside the walls of the school. âtrue, come on. they canât stop everyone. not right now.â krys points out as she stands, tugs jisoo along with her. it seems plausible enough, itâs hard to stop curious teens, especially in the middle of a commotion. she thinks they might have a chance of at least finding one free window to glance out of. âeven if there is something out there, whoâs to say it canât get in? especially ifâŚwhatever the hellâŚover the radio.â krys rambles out, half to herself as she vocalizes the thoughts currently racing through her mind.Â
theyâre pieces of glory built on a chessboard: in other words meant for sacrifice. the faculty proved themselves to be as mysterious and untrustworthy as the voice that threw the students into such a disarray, so either way jisoo realizes that all favors were against them. now all they had was the ability to make their own choices, which was just as limited, and once sheâs brought back to reality jisoo wasnât going to hesitate in grabbing those possibilities with her own two hands.
with fellow students arguing and causing a stir around them it should be easy enough to slip past and look outside. thereâs not much to lose if caught, at least not in her opinion, and if the faculty even attempted to damage her spotless record for trying to find out the truth sheâll burn this school to the ground.
âthat voice said that it was coming for us, right? and weâre all forced in one room.â she follows krystalâs voice with her own thoughts, her steps coming close after hers as she continues to keep their conversation between the two of them. she canât find hangyuâs face among their peers and that boils some concern in her veins. âitâll be a slaughterhouse,â she continues, âthe faculty canât do shit and theyâve proven that more then enough for me to not trust them.â
the rain beats down around the school, colors the world dark and cages them inside underneath the faculties warning. or maybe more than that, something cryptic hanging in the air and krys canât seem to fight the goosebumps climbing their way along her skin. it feels forced, mechanical, and how is she supposed to stay still in a room with panic rushing through it like an ocean? something is off, something sheâs entirely sure that the faculty canât account for. and how could they? a voice that had crackled out manic and left her paranoid?Â
little lambs, theyâd said. but lambs flock together and krys isnât so sure she wants to wait around for the slaughter.Â
she finds jisoo among the chaos, fingers twisting around her friends wrist to catch her attention. the state of the students crowding the room is enough to set krys off into claustrophobia, wants to turn heel and leave, wants to check outside if only to ensure that thereâs nothing out there. what reason would there be to keep their eyes turned from the rain, after all? thereâs fear to be found in the shadows outside, an easy enough distraction to keep them hiding from. thereâs no danger dancing in the rain. but thereâs a monster among them. sheâs nearly sure of it.Â
krys can find some amount of agreement in jisooâs stare when their eyes meet, but krys breaks through the white noise of conversation scattered around the dining hall anyway. âcome on, shouldnât weâŚ?â krys trails off. her voice sounds calm, but if you know her well enough its easy to pick out the uncertainty in the slight tremble of her tone. âlike. get the fuck out of here?â she finishes, lifts her free hand to drag it back through her hair. âwhatâs so dangerous about the rain?â she tacks on after a beat, her voice heavy with skepticism.
what little peace they have is interrupted in the middle of their meal and jisoo doesnât know whether or not to feel some sort of relief in the situation. the sound of rain pounds against the building in a similar fashion her heart rattles against her ribs, trying to mask her concern with indifference in the face of both peers and teachers. however when a voice filled to the brim with mirth speaks to the student body with venom she doesnât realize that her eyes had widen in a mix of surprise and fear.
her world grows silent, unable to move until a force pulls her by her wrist and sheâs met with the familiar gaze of a friend. somewhere in krystalâs eyes she finds comfort and confidence, a sense of calm thatâs founded in the middle of busied bodies attempting to either escape or calm the students trapped inside this prison.Â
she finds trust and for that very reason she nods her head. âdefinitely, if what theyâre saying is true then getting a little wet sounds better than losing my head.â she doesnât trust anyone will protect them, the events and history behind amji gives her all the reason to believe that something was coming. itâs one of the only things that sheâs willing to believe. âtheyâre gonna try to keep us from the windows but thatâs probably our best bet figuring out whatâs going on,â she adds, keeping her voice loud enough so it can be heard between the two of them, âor at least confirming if thereâs anything outside to begin with.â

sheâs far from naive but kim jisoo does hold a reputation of being oblivious within her group of friends. maybe itâs compensation for finding something positive in her lack of presence, and as such she doesnât find the random acts of kindness as anything but an inconvenience. an annoyance.
itâs small things from min yoongi that makes his existence known to her world. her tunnel vision grew with each random appearance: when he came to check if she had ate already, when he offered her a snack, when he magically appeared out of no where after she had tripped over her own two feet and helped gathered her books, and several other situations. some may call this fate, but being a person who genuinely hates that word and doesnât believe in foolish probabilities.Â
heâs simply a man with impeccable timing and she finds no reason to congratulate him on it. in fact it infuriates her.
a hand that she registers now as familiar crosses her line of sight while she studies outside, waiting for her friends. something is plopped down on the bench beside her and she looks to it briefly before catching the maleâs gaze. something ignites in her throat and she stands, "what exactly are you gaining dong all of this?â her voice is cold, wishing to cut into him with ease and maybe finally erase him for her line of sight forever.
âhow many times do i need to tell you that your help isnât needed?â
okay idk if yâall pay clazziquai any mind but this mv came out recently and iâm screaming because these are total squad goals. and iâd really love for jisoo to have a few friends because so far this girl is!! an asshole just making enemies! and also twoâs a pair but threeâs a party and hidden under that frown this girl loves to party.
so tl;dr iâm looking for two buddies, and the three of them basically go out and have fun (be kids pushing each other around in shopping carts). preferably iâd like to have them in 2nd year with her but other than that gender doesnât matter and if you want to contact me for this feel free to message me or add me on aim @ seo.young !!
EDIT: the two positions are currently being discussed so this plot will be closed!
kim jisoo 101: first year, best year, jisoo being in denial.
tw: blades
like igneous rocks fire builds in her throat and drops down her chest, ending somewhere in the depths of her stomach the light fire to the blood in her veins. to put simply it is wrath, what should make someone smile in reminiscence does nothing but bring bitter memories. of knuckles meeting flesh, fingers tugging at hair, and the coppery taste of blood in her mouth.
jisoo breathes in hatred and self-loathe when her bracelet gets stuck to her skirt, cursing in confusion when she finally realizes something she should have long since abandoned was still tied around her wrist.Â
itâs almost like seeing a ghost.
she remembers slim arms around her waist, slender fingers intertwining with hers, and soft lips identical to rose petals pressing against her own. (somewhere deep inside her, underneath her denial, she yearns for that unfamiliar yet welcoming touch.) she feels warm, feels butterflies, and quickly does she find a solution to make herself cold. sheâs a shipwreck because of her.
thereâs a box cutter in one hand and the bracelet in the other. brown hues staring at the âd & aâ white beads that used to represent a friendship that could have possibly blossomed into something more. her arms hang lazily outside the window of an emptied classroom, the evening sun pouring into the room as a cool autumn breeze rolls by, and she places the blade against the cheap wire used to hold the bracelet together.Â
just add pressure and it will all go away, she says.
just add pressure and sheâll go away, she seethes.
jisoo feels as if sheâs pulling at a stubborn weed thatâs rooted itself inside of her. and like all weeds it spreads, trying to calm the fire that was still setting her blood aflame and only tangling itself within it.
but it remains through fire, remains through rage.
alexis remains--possibly due to the coincidence that history was repeating itself in the form of someone else. this person carries herself like a pillar, indestructible, and jisoo likes that about her. itâs the dangerous like, the abnormal like, and immediately she realizes that she has more concerns here then in a girl an ocean away who she will never see again (hopefully). so in a way she finds herself an excuse to wrap her fingers tightly around the memory that should have been buried.
she hears familiar laughter that makes her heart flutter and a light red dust her cheeks. the box cutter plays around in her fingers as she focuses on that single voice, waiting for when it feels close and finally letting the weapon drop from her grasp.Â
arms return to her side and jisoo closes the window swiftly, turning to gather her belongings and leave the classroom before a distant scream rings in her ears.

if someone were to write a book jisoo was sure that she would be written as a dis-likable character from the very first sentence. but she doesnât need written documentation to know that her words and actions werenât well received in the face of others; from those directly receiving that hate she harbors to their siblings who conveniently attended the same school.Â
honestly the lee twins have been a thorn in her side since day one, but both had different reasons why they crawled under her skin. the fact that there were two just made the impact cause her blood to boil--they would always have a line of defense simply because they had each other. how lucky. how fortunate.
none of those things will help them in the future. luck and fortune wonât cut it in the real world, and soon enough whatever drive that was keeping hayi from falling even below the bottom tier would be sucked dry. (at least thatâs what she likes to believe.) jisoo knows this much and maybe thatâs what makes her so insufferable, sheâs neither âcompetitionâ nor a âthreatâ but simple a constant presence that wonât hesitate to voice how the other teen is being overshadowed by someone who was undeserving.
pathetic, her eyes spell the word out perfectly as she meets the gaze of the other teen.
âlee hayi,â she draws the last syllable of her name out longer than necessary, a cheshire smile spreading across her features as she closes her book. the courtyard had been surprisingly quiet and she was enjoying the comforting peace it brought, so of course in a split second her features switch to that of annoyance now that it has been broken. âdonât you have your brotherâs leg to go hump? youâre blocking the sun.â
each step is made with confidence, a body built by expectations and limitless potential (as her father states) that carefully dodges bodies larger than herâs as she walks the busy hallways. she carries books close to her frame, wanting to find comfort in the silence far from the students busily trying to gather friends for a fun weekend out. she envies those who can easily avoid extra hours away from studying, but at the same time loathes those who decide to remain average--or even below that--and spend their time blissfully.Â
however sheâll push those thoughts aside, all too focused on reviewing the next chapter as she pulls the emptied classroom door.
at least it should have been empty, having the misfortune of seeing a familiar head of hair that she absolutely despised. her teeth grind together, eyes narrowing at the sight of lee minhyuk. the teen who accepts her role as a background character makes her presence known by approaching the desk he was occupying and dropping her books there in front of him, before he says anything she spits out words soaking in venom, âshouldnât you be gone already? donât tell me.. the all knowing lee minhyuk is studying? is all that luck of yours finally running dry?â
antagonize, provoke, she continues to shake the cage that held minhyukâs patience so her perfect view of him could finally shatter.
hello everyone, iâm emiko! first off thank you all for the super warm welcomes, iâm really happy to be here and iâll be getting back to my messages with brainstorming ideas soon. for the time being, however, hereâs a plot page i finally finished up that youâre all free to look at and if something catches your eye donât be afraid to hmu!
and to end this off hereâs a quick run down about jisoo under the cut!
born in austin, texas
american southern bbq > korean bbq
her father owned a bbq place and her mother left them when she was a kid, so sheâs a little rough around the edges and a tad less âlady-likeâ in the comparison to âsocial normsâ
her family owns an oil company and practically struck gold overnight and thatâs what brought her father back home, who became heir and is now ceo after her grandfather had passed away
stays quiet for the most part and doesnât have much presence but she sure as hell is aiming for the top, is a firm believer of hard work paying off
if youâre naturally talented she probably hates you
if you talk loud she probably hates you
if you breathe loud she probably hates you
if you think jisoo hates you she probably does
and no one hates jisoo as much as she hates herself for her crippling internalized homophobia
sheâs a huge surprise for most people, likes to party and knows how to clean up so itâs like she was never there
in drama and the basketball team
also in the social studies department, middle tier
she will knock you down off of your high horse, steal your horse, and step on you
overall an asshole
on the bright side sheâs extremely loyal to the people she trusts and likes!!!! yâall get moonpies whenever she sneaks them in from vacation
