A year before I was accepted into the Academy, my first passing visit to Piltover—besides the admissions office—was a brief detour to the Auditorium.
In hindsight, it was a rather foolish decision, following some distant melody to sate my own curiosity—yet hearing parts of that violin concerto.. it was extraordinary.
At that moment, all I wanted was to stay for the entire concert, to listen to a full violin or piano concerto. But I knew too well that security had no qualms with throwing a cripple from Zaun into Stillwater—even if it was just for loitering.
That day, I promised myself that I would attend a full orchestra—no interruptions.
