i think i have briefly, but it was in a bigger post abt dustys trans identity ! he mainly got the nickname from Americans not wanting to say dustys full birth name (Rosomakha which translates to wolverine in Ukrainian) as it was just 'a hassle' for them. so when he was working the fields with the other men and boys, he was either 'boy', another i made recently which is cute, 'haymouse' =harvest mouse cause he was the smallest there, and his famed name "Dusty" because he was always the hardest worker-- he came out of those fields caked in dirt and grime. it just stuck. townspeople called him it, even his mom, his siblings, it just stuck and Dusty didn't mind that. and i find it sweet. instead of giving a nickname, which many people see nicknames as only specific people get to call you a nickname, for dusty, only specific people can call him his birth name.

This is stupid but let me nerd out and list a few : vampire saliva having certain enzymes and bacteria (? I failed hs science twice i dont know shit abt biology) to clean their wounds quicker. Que them licking themselves like dogs or cats. If they have a head wound i can picture them coating the back of their hand in saliva to rub against their head wound…

Them making other silly bat sounds. Maybe not as shrilly, but i like to think they can have short bursts of hisses. Maybe this can work within a colony of them? (Id say the hivemind, but i like to think some vamps stick together. Think bert, joan and remmick at the beginning)

Speaking of ‘colonies’, do yall think they curl up when they sleep. I was originally gonna say to preserve heat, but theyre undead, so… but still. Its cute !

Them calling kids/babies pups. This is bordering on ABO shit i think but its just fun since bat offspring are called pups. I dont know how vampire intercourse/offspring work if at all but them referring to kids as pups is too funny to not pass up. Specifically thinking of this with the case of old-world vampires (i.e Remmick, although i think it slips out more than anything) more than say Stack or Mary, but they could accidentally just pick up saying it too.
