I refuse to let my emotions control my actions or determine how I treat myself and the people around me.

God is truly amazing. he has a way of coming through for me in the very last hour. reminding me that his timing is always better than mine. i am so grateful because he continues to give me not always what i want, but exactly what i need, even when i don’t understand it in the moment. i am grateful for every change, every closed door, every betrayal, every redirection, and every unexpected turn because i know none of it is wasted. what i thought was rejection was protection. what i thought was a loss was actually redirection, and what hurt me was sometimes the very thing God used to move me closer to where i was meant to be. i thank God for removing what was never meant to stay, revealing what i needed to see, and guiding my steps even when i couldn’t see the whole path. i trust him deeply because time and time again, he has proven that everything he does is for my good. God has never failed me, and i know he never will.

Inside The Daily Life Of Ember Sparks

The last several weeks have completely turned my life upside down. I lost Richard, the love of my life and the person I spent every day with, and that kind of loss has left a hole in me that I can’t even put into words. I’m grieving someone I truly believed I was going to spend my future with, and instead of being able to mourn him peacefully, I’ve been dealing with constant conflict, accusations, and hurt from some of his family and other people around us. I’ve had people question my love for him, blame me for things that weren’t my fault, and say incredibly cruel things while I’m already carrying more pain than I’ve ever experienced. It’s felt like every time I try to catch my breath, something else happens that knocks me back down.

On top of losing Richard, I’ve lost the life we were building together. I’ve been dealing with so much uncertainty, heartbreak, and emotional exhaustion that some days it feels impossible to even think straight. I wake up every day missing him, replaying memories in my head, wondering how my life changed so drastically in such a short amount of time. I’ve cried more than I ever thought a person could cry, and there have been days where just getting through the day has taken everything I have. I’m trying my best to stay strong and keep moving forward, but the truth is I’m grieving, I’m overwhelmed, and I’m carrying a weight that most people will hopefully never have to experience. I don’t expect everyone to understand what this feels like—I just wish people would show a little compassion instead of adding more pain to someone who’s already lost so much.
