tumblr rpg; an appless interactive psychological horror, slasher, and thriller experience set in the year 1989 in anchorage, alaska. heavy thematics are included, so only 20+ writers may apply. writers will make frequent decisions in plot drops or events that will change the course of outcomes in the overall plots and directly or indirectly affect others. in addition, we are community-led for character events, and heavily emphasize chemistry/organic writing in the group plot.

are the supernatural roles aware of each other in universe, like are the storywalkers aware of other storywalkers, are the omnia aware of other omnia?
hi, anon ! in-character, technically, omnia would be aware of other omnia & who is an unawakened.
since it's a secret out-of-character for both roles, we'd like to say that they cannot tell who is an unawakened, as the person themselves isn't aware [ ADMIN CROW: or other omnia due to their ability to change form / appearance. ]
basically, we ask retroactively plotting between omnia & unawakened as their identities are revealed ! how your connections between omnias comes to be organically without the knowledge of the role could be juicy.
storywalkers and oracles is entirely up to player. everyone presents differently. you can either plot this yourselves or allow their shared gifts to be discovered as the storyline unfolds.
LOAN would also know each other, but they would not know about any other roles in the group... yet.
jun shinozuka ( yuki kubota ) is looking for his former co-worker/work friend.
ash yoon ( kim hongjoong ) is looking for his step-sibling.

˖°. ❀ a letter arrived in the mail addressed to jun shinozuka ( yuki kubota ) from his former coworker/work friend. it’s been a while since they heard from one another, their relationship has been described as complicated. this person should still be employed by LOAN to this day (with no plans of quitting any time soon) and knew him while he was working there himself. nowadays, they don't quite see eye to eye and maybe they even butt heads from to time. they're also frustrated with the choices he made— maybe they're concerned about his current lifestyle and believe he's wasting his potential or maybe they feel betrayed that he turned his back on LOAN, something in which they both used to believe. you might see the 30+ (any age above this is a-ok! just be aware that the character's age may influence the specifics of their dynamic) around the city, they look a fair bit like UTP. ( the player does not need to approve the connection first, oboreta )
˖°. ❀ a letter arrived in the mail addressed to ash yoon ( kim hongjoong ) from his step-sibling (technically; he doesn't remember his mother so it's hard to really call them that). it’s been a while since they heard from one another, their relationship has been described as non-existent; they are the step-child of ash's mother, the child of the man she married years after running out on ash and his father. they have a younger half-sibling by their father and ash's mother, meaning that they share a half-sibling with ash. however, they have never met ash as of yet. they were meant to meet not long after ash's father disappeared but ash backed out at the last minute. you might see the late-20s-to-early-30s; i imagine they're likely older than ash, even if only a little around the city, they look a fair bit like UTP; they have no biological connection to ash so they could really look like anybody. Are they potentially capable of forming genuine attachments to people, developing personal interests, or becoming invested in their supposed occupations? Or are these things more of a performance for them, something they imitate in order to blend in with humans and maintain their identities?

hi!! how should one portray the omnia role in game? it is more similar to unawakened monster, there being a host who's unaware of it's hidden nature or it being an entity that is aware of its origin/purpose at all times and deliberately tries to achieve a common goal?
hey there, anon !! as for the omnia, ideally it would be portrayed as something that is aware of its directive and does strive to complete tasks with a shared goal !!
hi! about the lore, do the residents of anchorage know about the awakened and unawakened? do they know what the scientists are researching and what the talismans are for, or is there room for skepticism? like, is it a seemingly normal town where off things happen or are those dangers more evident?
hey, anon !! let me break these down into a numbered list !
1. they know of the awakened. LOAN are certainly aware of the unawakened, but normal residents have yet to encounter an unawakened and survive...
2. yes, but there is room for skepticism there. whether your character buys into it or not is really up to player, and can evolve however you wish as the story progresses. maybe a non-believer would have a close encounter with a Dweller and narrowly escapes and it rocks their world view.
3. a little bit in the middle. again, this would entirely depend upon each character's perception of alaska ! there is always the chance they have had fortune smile upon them and haven't had any significant dangers come to them, even though the news will regularly remind residents of what to look for.
